Armed gunman Devin Patrick Kelley left 26 people dead and 20 injured at a small Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Nov. 7.

The ages of the victims range from 18 months to 77 years old. Ten of the injured victims are in critical condition, with officials fearing the rising death toll. The shooting is the fifth worst mass shootings in the U.S in the last 10 years.

The shooting was not fueled by racial or religious beliefs, but instead by domestic issues between Kelley and his mother-in-law.

Kelley was reportedly shot by an armed bystander when he was escaping the scene. He then died from a self-inflicted gun wound after calling his father. Kelley was not permitted to own the firearms he used to carry out the shooting.

In 2012, Kelley was sentenced to 12 months in confinement after he was accused of assault against his wife and child. Two years later, he was discharged from the Air Force due to bad conduct.
