On Oct. 18, an official statement was released via email by BigHit Entertainment announcing that International K-pop sensation BTS would be renewing their contract through 2026.

Currently on their “BTS World Tour: Love Yourself,” the group of seven have sold out every venue ranging from North America, Europe, and Asia, making history as they go along.

BTS debuted under this company in 2013 with the release of their first album “2 Kool for Skool.”

“With Big Hit Entertainment’s support, we’ll continue to strive to give our best for fans all around the world,” said BTS in a statement, through which they also expressed respect for their mentor and Big Hit founder Bang Si-hyuk for showing them “a vision for our future form even before debut” and helping them “from our perspective of the world and music.”

The company also announced they will be forming a team specifically dedicated to BTS “to provide systematic support and investment” into the act and their career. “It is our philosophy that we should cater the best to artists who’s achieving an unprecedented global success,” said BigHit.
