DUAL ENROLLMENT Students who are currently in the Program must register for a Palm Beach State College spring term class by Dec. 18th. Classes are filling up quickly! Any student currently in the Dual Enrollment Program who does not plan to take a class in the spring term must see their counselor to adjust their schedule for January. Seniors must have a minimum of 5 classes on their schedule.

INTERACT CLUB Attention members: our Dec. meeting date has been moved up to Tuesday, Dec. 4th at 2:45pm in room 5-212. Please join us as we discuss the Salvation Army Bell Ringing and January’s Hearts and Hammers community service opportunities!

JUPITER COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DECA will be hosting a week of giving by collecting toys for Jupiter Elementary school, writing letters to deployed soldiers overseas, and donating hygiene products to an abused women’s shelter. You can get involved by bringing a toy, shampoo, conditioner, disposable razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and any other hygiene products to Mr. Hubbard’s Rm 4-106. In addition, you can decorate & write cards for soldiers in our booth in the courtyard every day at lunch. Brighten someone’s day and give back this holiday season! DEBBIE’S DREAM CLUB will be holding a short meeting during lunch Wednesday, December 5th, in room 10-104. Bring your friends and we hope to see everyone there! We also are going to do the fundraiser in January.

THE NINTENDO CLUB Starts Tuesday, December 4th. Join us and play games like Super Smash Brothers and meet new friends who share similar interests with you. Find us in Mr. Andersons’s room, 6-110 after school on Tuesdays.

THE RMHC CLUB is hosting a contest for first period classes to see who can bring in the most pull tabs after the holidays. The tabs help families pay for their housing while their children are in the hospital. The class who brings in the most tabs will get a complimentary breakfast, and community service hours for individual students! All tabs are due January 11th, 2019 to room 4-116.


SGA WINTER SPIRIT WEEK FROM DECEMBER 10TH TO DECEMBER 14TH. On Monday wear you favorite ugly sweater, Tuesday is dress up as your favorite holiday movie character, Wednesday wear your favorite flannel, Thursday dress up as your favorite holiday duo, and Friday wear your favorite pair of pajamas and come get a free cup of hot chocolate in front of the atrium in the morning. Don’t forget you need to stay in dress code!

SGA will be hosting a winter door decorating contest from December 3rd to the 14th. Teachers should have received an application in their mailbox and via email. Please fill out the application and return it to Mrs. McCann or room 4-217 by or before December 4th if you are planning to participate. The doors need to be decorated before December 14th so it can be included in judging and needs to be taken down before the beginning of break.

CONGRATULATIONS teacher of the week: Mr. Matousek. His students say he’s very funny, always making jokes, and always cares for his students. Students also say he’s very patient and generous. Thank you for all that you do Mr. Matousek. Students if you would like to nominate your favorite teachers for teacher of the week, the boxes are located in room 4-217 and guidance. Just fill out the nomination slip and drop it in the box.

CONGRATULATIONS Athlete of the Week: Scarlett Quintero. Scarlett is a senior on the girls weightlifting team and is an amazing student. Great job Scarlett.
