Every Sat. and Sun. from Nov. 11 to Jan. 1, guests will have the opportunity to go on a round trip from Fort Lauderdale to Miami on the “Polar Express,” a specially-decorated Brightline train. Each train car will have hosts to welcome the passengers, punch the tickets and play out scenes from the beloved Christmas movie, “Polar Express.”

On the way to Miami, guests are served cookies and hot chocolate from dancing chefs and are read parts of Chris Van Allsburg’s book, “Polar Express,” on which the movie was based. Once in Miami, Santa will board the train and give each passenger a keepsake–a silver sleigh bell–similar to the one from the “Polar Express” movie. On the return trip, guests will participate in seasonal activities, including caroling, led by the train car’s host.

Ticket prices are based on when the train departs from Fort Lauderdale. For the 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. journey, tickets range from $60 to $65. For the journeys in the evening, leaving at 4, 6 and 8 p.m., tickets range from $65 to $70. Passengers are to arrive an hour before departure. Brightline’s “Polar Express” will also run on Christmas Eve.
