THE NEXT MEET THE SCIENTIST LECTURE Is tonight (4/10) at 7 pm in the JHS Auditorium. It will be a Panel Discussion on THROWAWAY PLASTICS AND OUR TERRIBLE ADDICTION TO STUFF with Diane Buhler, Friends of Palm Beach, Dr. Stefan Harzen, Blue Dolphin Research, and Jeff Sabin, Waste Management. DUAL ENROLLMENT Registration for the summer term at PBSC is underway and classes are filling up quickly.  Registration for the fall term begins April 25th.  Qualified students, who plan to dual enroll, need to complete their request packets and use the Dual Enrollment Center in Guidance.

MEDICAL ACADEMY SENIOR STUDENTS. Pick up your Academy Awards packet in room 7-106. Deadline to RSVP for the awards ceremony is April 19, 2019. Do not delay.

EXCITING SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY The Woman’s Club and Junior Woman’s Club are offering scholarships to senior girls who live in Jupiter or Tequesta. Applications must be mailed by April 30 and can be downloaded from the Scholarship Bulletin on the JHS website. MRS. CAPPARELLI is looking for a student to help her design a logo for the Stand Up, Stand Out scholarship.  If you are creative and artistic and would like the possibility of winning a $50 gift card, please see Mrs. Capparelli in room 4-107 before school, during lunch, or during 4th period.  The logo needs to be completed by April 18th.

NO PLACE FOR HATE This club works to make our school a welcoming place for all students. On Thursday, April 11th at lunch in the courtyard we will be hosting a unity art event. We will have trivia, snacks, and an interactive art installation. Come over to participate and show your support for unity and acceptance at Jupiter High School.

MY FRIEND’S CLOSET Is having a clothing drive until May 1st. We will be collecting clothes and shoes for all ages. You will receive community service for your donations. Also, the 1st period that collects the most clothes will receive Jupiter Donuts. Please bring donations to Ms. Ellis’s room 4-118 or collect a bin in 1st period and contact Annabelle Ford to pick up. Thank you!

HOSA MEMBERS There will be a meeting in room 7-106 during lunch on Wednesday, April 10th.  The discussion will involve next year’s officer team and the international conference.  Please join us because there are changes coming to HOSA.


SPRING FOOTBALL begins April 22.  If you wish to try-out, you must have a 2.0 GPA and a completed eligibility packet on file in the Athletic Director’s office, PRIOR to 4/22.  Any questions, please see Coach Tharp.
