On March 1, the early 2000s band, the Jonas Brothers, announced their reunion after a six-year hiatus with the release of new single “Sucker.”

Formed in 2005, the band consists of the three brothers: Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas. Their careers began when Nick, the youngest of the three, was heard singing in a barber shop. He and his brothers were signed after a record label heard a demo of all three of them.

The boys went on to have a very successful career, releasing four full-length albums and having their own TV show on Disney Channel and starring in popular Disney movies such as “Camp Rock” and “Camp Rock 2.”

The brothers disbanded in 2013, going on a six-year hiatus, pursue solo careers and take time to resolve family conflicts.

“We’re choosing our family because it was becoming toxic,” Kevin said.

The new music has a more mature sound compared to their Disney days. Their new sound is a combination of Nick and Joe’s music styles from their solo careers.

The “Sucker” video features the wives of the brothers. It takes place in Hatfield House in England, Queen Elizabeth I’s childhood home. “Everyone is dressed in avant-garde costumes in what seems to have heavy influences from Alice in Wonderland,” Jeff Nelson and Joelle Goldstein of said.

After the release of the video, the brothers went on a few talk shows, including “The Late Late Show with James Corden” where they talked about their comeback and why it was important for the band to take a break for their personal lives.

They were also featured in Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment in which they sang some of their old hits, as well as their new single.

On March 31, the Jonas Brothers had their first concert since reuniting, in Atlanta at the Tabernacle venue. Their family came to support them. Nick’s wife, Priyanka Chorpa-Jonas, gushed about the concert, saying it was “incredible” in a Tweet. A tour has not been confirmed as of yet.

“My first ever #Jonasbrothers show. And it was incredible!!! I’m so proud of these guys!!#Family,” Chorpa-Jonas said.

The brothers have released a new song called “Cool” on April 5.
