WARRIOR CHORUS Great news:  Spectrum took their first trip to the State Music performance assessment in 15 years last Thursday and earned an overall Superior rating!  The Warrior Women also took their third consecutive trip to State MPA, and earned their second consecutive Superior rating!  The students worked so hard to get to this point and they put it all out there and had incredible performances! Please also congratulate senior students Allison Kamla, and David Gaztambide for recently earning Superior ratings at the State level of Solo and Ensemble.  Sophomore Caleb Petranchuk also earned a special distinguished Superior rating for his exceptional performance!

CONGRATULATIONS to the teachers who have been nominated for the My Teacher, My Hero Award: Lorraine Plageman, Ryan Ross, Lillian Gilbert, Morah Carlisle, and Deidre Wilson. Also, Mrs. McCann will be honored as the Jupiter High School Teacher of the Year for the North Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce!

THE ASVAB is free of charge and will be administered tomorrow (4/25). Signups are in guidance and it’s open to all 10th – 12th grade students.

PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE Representatives will be on campus in our courtyard on April 29th during lunch. If you are a senior and plan to enroll there next year this is a great opportunity to get questions answered. They will have an abundance of info on the different programs available for you. They also can discuss any dual enrollment concerns you may have.

CURRENT DUAL ENROLLMENT students must return their textbooks to Booksmart within 5 days of their last class.  Don’t forget to submit your return receipt to the Dual Enrollment Center in Guidance.  This is your only proof that the book has been returned so you are not on the obligation list. Seniors must be cleared of all obligations for senior sign out.

SWAT Tobacco companies market e-cigarettes to teens with deceptive advertising and sweet flavors. They think teens are expendable experiment subjects. Don’t be a lab rat. Please join JHS SWAT in the fight against tobacco companies, e-cigarettes, and JUULS. They will be in the courtyard during lunch today, Thursday and Friday with postcards that say “I am not a lab rat.” You will be able to write a personal message expressing why you don’t use JUULS. JHS SWAT will then mail the postcards to JUUL labs in San Francisco, CA.

FIRST PRIORITY Meets today (Wednesday, April 24) at lunch.  Come on out to portable 15 to hear a very inspirational guest speaker.
