CONGRATULATIONS TO MELANIE CILELLA selected as one of twenty-five students in the state of Florida to receive an Arts for Life Scholarship!

YBK Great news, Warriors. You can still pre-order a yearbook for the discounted price of $100 until April 30. On May 1, the price goes up to $110. Seniors will get their yearbooks on Wednesday, May 1, and Thursday, May 2. Underclassmen can get their yearbooks on Friday, May 3, during lunch. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Muncy in room 4-203 during period 4 or 5.

WAR CRY Did you happen to notice photographers from our online school newspaper, the War Cry, taking pictures at prom? They took over 100 photos of you beautiful Warriors, and the pictures will be available for purchase, for $5 each, during lunch, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2, in the courtyard. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a keepsake from prom.

SOCIAL STUDIES HONOR SOCIETY will be distributing cords during lunch MONDAY APRIL 29th in P20. This is only for members who paid their dues in January.

PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE Representatives will be on campus in our courtyard on April 29th during lunch. If you are a senior and plan to enroll at PBSC next year this is a great opportunity to get questions answered. They will have an abundance of info on the different programs available for you. They also can discuss any dual enrollment concerns you may have.

CURRENT DUAL ENROLLMENT students must return their textbooks to Booksmart within 5 days of their last class.  Don’t forget to submit your return receipt to the Dual Enrollment Center in Guidance.  This is your only proof that the book has been returned so you are not on the obligation list. Seniors must be cleared of all obligations for senior sign out.


THE JAPANESE CLUB will be meeting in the other Mr. Andersen’s room today, Rm 5-110. New members are always welcome.

THE K-POP CLUB will be holding a meeting today (Friday) in room 5-213 at lunch. All K-Pop fans are welcome!

SWAT Tobacco companies market e-cigarettes to teens with deceptive advertising and sweet flavors. They think teens are expendable experimental subjects. Don’t be a lab rat. Please join JHS SWAT in the fight against tobacco companies, e-cigarettes, and JUULS. They will be in the courtyard during lunch today (Friday) with postcards that say “I am not a lab rat.” You will be able to write a personal message expressing why you don’t use JUULS. JHS SWAT will then mail the postcards to JUUL labs in San Francisco, CA.

THE JHS TALENT SHOW is on Thursday, May 2nd, pre-sale tickets are available in the school store during lunch every day, $6 for students $8 for the general public, $10 at the door.

MY FRIEND’S CLOSET Is collecting clothes and shoes for all ages. You will receive community service for your donations. Also, the 1st period that collects the most clothes will receive Jupiter Donuts. Please bring donations to Ms. Ellis’s room 4-118 or collect a bin in 1st period and contact Annabelle Ford to pick up by May 1. Thank you!


FRESHMAN FOOTBALL There will be a Parent and Player Meeting for all incoming Freshman Football players on Monday, May 13, at 6:00 pm in the JHS Media Center.
