REQUESTING USED (CLEAN) PE UNIFORMS & BOOK BAGS Mrs. Willis will give Community Service hours for used clean PE Uniform tops and bottoms and book bags. There is a collection box in the Front Office and Guidance.

CLASS NEWS

YBK Great news, Warriors. You can still pre-order a yearbook for the discounted price of $100 until April 30. On May 1, the price goes up to $110. Seniors will get their yearbooks on Wednesday, May 1, and Thursday, May 2. Underclassmen can get their yearbooks on Friday, May 3, during lunch. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Muncy in room 4-203 during period 4 or 5.

WAR CRY PROM PHOTOS Photographers from our online school newspaper took over 100 photos of you beautiful Warriors, and the pictures will be available for purchase for $5 each during lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2, in the courtyard. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a keepsake from prom.

SOCIAL STUDIES HONOR SOCIETY will be distributing cords during lunch TODAY APRIL 29th in P20. This is only for members who paid their dues in January.

PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE Representatives will be on campus in our courtyard today (4/29) during lunch. If you are a senior and plan to enroll at PBSC next year this is a great opportunity to get questions answered. They will have an abundance of info on the different programs available for you. They also can discuss any dual enrollment concerns you may have.

CLUBS

THE JHS TALENT SHOW is on Thursday, May 2nd, pre-sale tickets are available in the school store during lunch every day, $6 for students $8 for the general public, $10 at the door.

MY FRIEND’S CLOSET Is collecting clothes and shoes for all ages. You will receive community service for your donations. Also, the 1st period that collects the most clothes will receive Jupiter Donuts. Please bring donations to Ms. Ellis’s room 4-118 or collect a bin in 1st period and contact Annabelle Ford to pick up by May 1. Thank you! 

SGA NEWS

Senior sendoff will take place on May 7th in the courtyard in front of the atrium from 7 to 7:30am. There will be banner signing and crowns given out. Make sure to wear apparel for the college that you will be attending, but stay in dress code.

Students there will also be another Cops and Teens Talk on May 15th from 3:30-4:30pm at the Jupiter Rec Center. Come and join us to get connected with your local law enforcement.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK Students on April 29th during lunch in the courtyard come out to write a thank you card to your teachers. On May 1st at 7am in the mailroom there will be a breakfast for the teachers. Students during this week don’t forget to thank your teachers for all they do.

SGA would like to congratulate this week’s athlete of the week, Kurt Pelchen. Kurt is on the lacrosse team and is an amazing student and athlete. Great job Kurt!

SGA would also like to congratulate this week’s teacher of the week: Mr. Ross. Students say he is very dedicated to his job and helps everyone succeed. He is always kind, hardworking, and caring. Also, congratulations on getting your master’s degree at UF! Thank you Mr. Ross!

Students if you would like to nominate your favorite teachers for teacher of the week, the boxes are located in room 4-217 and guidance. Just fill out the nomination slip and drop it in the box. Students also don’t forget to make suggestions to help better our school in the suggestion boxes located in room 4-217, student services, and the media center.
