NEW AP CONTENT ON KHAN ACADEMY AP exams are nearly here! Khan Academy has practice questions, quizzes, articles and videos for the following AP courses: AP Microeconomics. AP US History, AP Biology, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Macroeconomics, AP Statistics, AP US Gov. and Politics, AP Physics 1. Good luck on your exams!

SENIORS that have paid their dues for the Social Studies Honor Society but did not pick up their cord yet: This is when and where you can pick up your cord:  Come to the office between 7-107 and 7-111 between 1st and 2nd period only.  During lunch or After School in P20. You can send someone to pick them up for you. Once these are distributed, there may be a few extras for those of you that were admitted as juniors but didn’t pay your dues this year. See Mrs. Hanssen on Friday (same times and places) with $15.

YEARBOOKS are here. Seniors can get their pre-ordered 2019 yearbooks in the auditorium today (5/2) during cap-and-gown distribution. Underclassmen can get their yearbooks at lunch in the auditorium lobby the week of May 6. Yearbooks will also be on sale in the auditorium lobby for $110.

WAR CRY PROM PHOTOS Photographers from our online school newspaper took over 100 photos of you beautiful Warriors, and the pictures will be available for purchase for $5 each during lunch today (Thursday) in the courtyard. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a keepsake from prom.

CLUBS

THE JAPANESE CLUB’S last meeting of the year is this Friday after school in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115. Please contribute to the party by bringing some food!

SPORTS

REGIONAL TRACK & FIELD RESULTS Last Saturday, the girls 4 x 100 relay broke the school record set last year in the time of 51.90. Sophomore Joe Wester is the regional champion in the 800 and 1600 with lifetime best times of 1:55.54 for the 800 (half mile) and 4:29.11 for the 1600 (mile). Senior Sam Munera qualified for the State Championships in both the mile and 2 mile. Finally, the girls 4 x 800 relay qualified for the State Championships, Senior Alicia Gustafson, Juniors, Ava Romero & Peyton Del Re; and sophomore Sydney Buck! The State Championship is this Friday & Saturday at University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Please congratulate and wish these athletes the best! Go Warriors!

CROSS COUNTRY All girls interested in running Cross Country this coming fall please plan to meet Thursday, May 9th immediately after school in Ms. Sanders room 7-209.  Summer training, meet schedule, and paperwork will be handed out and discussed.  Please try and be there and plan on 30 minutes.

BOYS LACROSSE Tuesday night our team beat Melbourne Catholic 7-3 to advance to the Regional Championship game this Friday vs. Cardinal Mooney Here at 7:00. The winner of this game goes to States. This is the perfect time for everyone to show their Warrior pride and come out and support our Boys Lacrosse team. GO WARRIORS!

FRESHMAN FOOTBALL There will be a Parent and Player Meeting for all incoming Freshman Football players on Monday, May 13, at 6:00 pm in the JHS Media Center.
