Embracing Summer in Jupiter

Summer is right around the corner, and our area offers plenty of fun activities to fill those long, summer days, from beaches to shopping to local wildlife.

 

Harbourside Place

Harbourside Place is located on Jupiter’s beautiful Intracoastal Waterway at the corner of Indiantown Rd. and U.S. 1. With dozens of shops, restaurants and local businesses, it is the perfect place to enjoy a day with friends and family. You can even get a manicure and pedicure at the end of a long day at Venetian Nail Spa. Harbourside is also home to the Wyndham Grand Hotel that overlooks the Intracoastal. The hotel boasts with great places like Francesca’s boutique, Tommy Bahama, Another Broken Egg Cafe, BurgerFi and fro-yo. Harbourside Place also holds a Farmers Market every Sunday, and it allows you to try new fruits, vegetables, pastries and flowers.

 

Cinepolis Movie Theatre

Cinepolis is located in Jupiter right across the street from Harbourside on U.S. 1. A luxurious movie theater, it offers recliner seating and food service if you upgrade to premium seats. This theater has great food like their grilled cheese and ultimate nachos. For a regular ticket at this theater it costs $12.84 and luxury tickets cost $19.80.

 

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is just north of Singer Island in North Palm Beach and contains a beautiful beach and options for renting single and double kayaks. It is also dog friendly, so bring along man’s best friend to spend the day with you. The park also offers nature trails and a wonderful nature center and gift shop. You can also go fishing and have a picnic. The state park offers picnic facilities or you can set up your own right of the sand. The gift shop also offers toys for children, books, coastal home decor, t-shirts, hats and jewelry.

 

Nature Conservancy Blowing Rocks

Nature Conservancy Blowing Rocks is located on Jupiter Island in Hobe Sound. It is popular for hiking and swimming. There are three different hiking trails to see rare birds and plants. Lots of people love this place for the enormous rocks, and the way the waves brush up on them during high tide. This is a popular destination because people like to observe rare animals and swimming and scuba diving.

 

Riviera Beach Marina Village

Riviera Beach Marina Village is located in Riviera Beach at 190 E 13th St. It is popular for their paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, and blue boat and Wave Runner rentals. This place is perfect for friends and family fun because it gives everyone a chance to do something and bond with them. Peanut Island is just 300 feet away by boat. The marina is located just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, allowing for great offshore fishing.
