West Palm Beach or Stuart to schedule your appointment. Tell them you’re from Jupiter High School.
HANNAH’S HOUSE DONATION DRIVE Please help Ms. Rivera’s Class help pregnant teens get back on their feet by
donating items such as Kleenex, Diapers, and Baby Food. The full list is on their boards around school. Community
Service Hours will be given. Drop off new items to Mrs. Rivera, Rm 7-110 now through Nov. 19 before school or during

CLUBS
THE JAPANESE CLUB Meets this Friday (10/26) after school in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115. Remember to bring money
for t-shirts.
ROBOTICS CLUB MEETING Tuesday, October 29th at 7:00 PM at William T. Dwyer High School in Classroom 8-105. We
need you and at least one parent to attend. We will be providing information about the Club and its activities, along with
what is involved with being a member of the Club. Dwyer High School is located on Military Trail just south of the
intersection of Donald Ross Road. Enter the school at the stone sign, NOT at the traffic light and electronic marquee.
Park at the front of the school, and enter the Atrium. Signs will be posted to direct you to the classroom. If you are not
able to attend, or have any questions before attending, send an email to [email protected]
Attending the meeting is better to ensure you are provided all the information about what will be taking place during
the year.
NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY all current members meet on Thursday, October 24th at 2:45pm in Room 4-209.
SECME CLUB is having its first meeting after school on Thursday, Oct 24th in room 7-209. This is a meeting for returning
members and anyone interested in competing in the engineering challenges later this year.
BEST BUDDIES Match party is Friday, October 25th from 2:45-3:45 in the cafeteria. Refreshments will be served. We
hope to see everyone there. Remember, you MUST be signed up online to attend. Any questions, please see Mrs.
McAfee, Mr. Bolt or any Best Buddies officer.
DO YOU LIKE GOOD FOOD Friendships, and giving back to our Warriors? Meet us at Bolay on Indiantown on Tuesday,
October 29th between 4 – 9:30 pm, show the flyer (passed out during lunch or you can take a photo), and Best Buddies
will receive 20% of the proceeds! Go Best Buddies!
JUNIORS & SENIORS Applications for the Social Studies Honor Society are available in room 5-112 OR through your Social
Studies teacher. (ONLY juniors and seniors NOT already in Social Studies Honor Society need to apply. SENIORS, To be
considered a returning member you had to have been accepted AND attended the 1st meeting LAST year – If you were
not at that 1st meeting last year then you are NOT a member and MUST reapply.) Applications are due by October 31st
and should be returned to the box in Guidance. Email or see Mrs. Hanssen in room 5-112 during lunch or between
classes with any questions.
TRICK OR TREAT FOR UNICEF JRC is fundraising for Unicef and collecting donations for kids in need. You can help by
filling a Trick or Treat for Unicef box with spare change or cash. For filling one box you can receive 2 hours of community
service. Get a box in Ms.Plageman’s room 7-113 or from Mr. Hagenbuch the Physics teacher.
TEENS HELPING HOSPICE Is a club that partners with local hospices to help kids deal with the loss of family and loved
ones. Our Club participates in two grief camps/year. Grief camps are for kids, ages 5-18, that teach kids to deal with
grief through adventure, collaborative- based and music therapy. Club members go through a 4-hour training course to
aid the counselors and therapists. One camp is a weekend where you sleep over for two nights and the other is a one
week day camp for younger children. This club is very rewarding and really helps kids in need. If you’re interested in
joining, come to our meeting on Thursday (10/24) at 2:45pm in P10.
SPORTS
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY The boys cross country team competed at the Palm Beach County cross country championships
last Wednesday in Boca Raton. Joe Wester continued his winning streak to earn the County Championship title! Ethan
Lantzy, Jack McNamara, Theo Endrud, James Walter, Christian Plourde, Toby Landwehr, Max Sanderson and Will
Nuneville all advance to Districts today (10/23) in Boca Raton. Let’s go Warriors!
FRESHMAN FOOTBALL Reminder that the Banquet will be held tonight (10/23) in our school cafeteria at 6:00pm.
HOME FOOTBALL game on Friday at 6:30. The theme is neon. Tickets are $3 for students with ID or $6 general
admission.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL District Champions play their Regional Quarterfinal game tonight vs Vero. It’s a pink out. Tickets are
$7 for EVERYONE …only kids 3 and under are free. Please come out and support our Lady Warriors.
TENNIS MEETING Tuesday Oct.29th Room 4-106 at 2:45 For all interested players
HOMECOMING WEEK
 Homecoming Court: Nominations next Monday and Tuesday, final voting on Thursday and Friday.
 Pep Rally: Monday, October 28. Follow pep rally schedule. Fall sports teams in matching team shirts admitted
without a wristband.
 Parade: Friday, November 1. Golf carts, not floats. Staging area is the parking lot at the Jupiter Community
Center near the gazebo. Sign in begins at 3pm, judging at 4pm, parade begins at 4:30, ends on track. you may
leave golf carts on the track during the game. Winners will be announced at halftime.
 Carnival: Friday, November 1, 4pm to 6pm, practice field. Open to all who enter the facilities (after wanding). 1
food truck, band concessions, games, music. Parade will come through the carnival around 4:45- 5pm.
 Game: Friday, November 1. 6:30 kick off, senior recognition for football, cheer, and band at 5:45. Halftime
crowning of King and Queen. Spirit of Jupiter band will play post-game.
 Dance: Saturday, November 2, 8-11pm. JHS Gymnasium. Tickets on sale all week – $20.
 HOMECOMING WEEK Dress up days: 10/28 – Class Colors, 10/29 – Alien vs. Cowboy, 10/30 – Generation Day,
10/31 – Halloween, 11/1 – Meme Day.
