TEEN HANGOUT DAY bring a friend and hang out today at the Jupiter Branch Library from 4-6:30pm. There will be
snacks, Wii games, art to create, but most importantly, a space where you can be YOU.
SUPER SMASH BROS. TOURNAMENT PLAYERS Check the schedule in the Media Center for the period you’re playing at
the Tech Fest on Nov. 12. Some have changed. Your teachers also have a copy of the schedule. Can’t wait for you to
“show us your moves!”

CONGRATULATIONS to our straight A Superior rated chamber choir Spectrum! They, along with several other JHS
soloists and ensembles received Superior ratings at the District 14 S&E festival!


JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE PRESENTS The Lottery and Adventures of Captain Neato Man November 7, 8, & 9 at
7pm in the Jupiter High School Auditorium. General Admission Tickets – $10. Students with JHS ID – $5
HANNAH’S HOUSE DONATION DRIVE Please help pregnant teens get back on their feet by donating items from the list.
Community Service Hours will be given. Drop off new items to Mrs. Rivera, Rm 7-110 now through Nov. 19 before school
or during lunch.
CLUBS
NEHS members: Please pay dues in Rm 1-155 anytime period 1-6 and lunch. New members are $20, Returning members

DECA Is raising money for Give the Kids the World Village, an 84-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort in Central Florida.
Here, children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations. Please help us
support this amazing organization by purchasing a Gobble-Gram for $2 during lunch in the school store. Gobble-Grams
will be available for purchase during lunch (until 11/19) and will be delivered on Friday, 11/22 during 2nd Period. Give
your friends a little something extra to show you care and support a great cause.
THE JAPANESE CLUB will be meeting this Friday, November 8, in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115. Remember to bring
money for your t-shirts.
DIABETES AWARENESS MONTH Attention Students: Join the faculty and staff this Friday and wear the color blue.
Someone you know, a student or a teacher, possibly deals with diabetes on a daily basis. More than 84 million US
adults—over a third—have prediabetes, and 90% of them don’t know they have it. Diabetes is the 7th leading cause of
death in the United States. So join us this Friday and wear the color blue. Blue – it looks good on you.
JHS SWAT NOT A LAB RAT WEEK Tobacco companies market e-cigarettes to teens with deceptive advertising and sweet
flavors. They think teens are expendable experiment subjects. Don’t be a lab rat. Please join JHS SWAT in the fight
against tobacco companies, e-cigarettes, and JUULS. We will be in the courtyard during lunch on Wednesday November
6th, Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th with postcards that say “I am not a lab rat.” You will be able to write a personal
message expressing why you don’t use JUULS. JHS SWAT will then mail the postcards to JUUL labs in CA.
BEST BUDDIES would like to thank all of you who came out to Bolay last week for our Give Back night. We were able to
raise $122 towards our club that promotes friendships and inclusion! Thank you Warriors! Go Best Buddies! Peer
buddies only meet during lunch today (11/7) in room 7-110 for Friendship Update training.

BOY’S WEIGHTLIFTING Anyone interested in joining the Team, there will be a meeting right after school on Wednesday,
November 13th. We will meet in room 10-106 which is right next to the weightroom. (–Coach Fleury)
WRESTLING On Monday, November 11 wrestling season will begin. Even though there is no school there is practice in
the cafeteria from 2:30 – 6pm. Any new wrestlers must have their completed packets turned in to Coach Raz in room 4-
109. They will practice Monday – Friday.
