THE JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACADEMY is partnering with Jeffro’s Heroes to help children who are less
fortunate receive toys this holiday season. Drop off locations for the new unwrapped toys are in room 4-206 and the
Main Office or give them to any CJA student. Community service hours will be given.
STUDENTS AGAINST MELANOMA – THE LAST SAM club meeting of 2019 is during lunch on Dec. 5 in the auditorium –
lunch will be provided.
THE JAPANESE CLUB will meet this Friday in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115 after school. This will be the last day to bring
money for your t-shirts!
THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY Induction Ceremony is on Monday December 2nd at 6:30 pm in the JHS
Auditorium. All are welcome to attend.
NATIONAL FRENCH HONOR SOCIETY is holding a supply drive for Bahamian children. To participate, fill a shoebox with
either school supplies or toiletries. Label the shoebox with either “school supplies” or “toiletries” across the top. Bring
the box to Mrs. Sidman in room 5-114 by December 5. Community service hours will be offered. Thank you for your
THE JUPITER RELIGIOUS CLUB Is having a Friendsgiving during lunch today. Anyone is welcome to come to room 3-101
for food and fun. Please feel free to bring your favorite fall treat to share, or come as you are. We will also be ordering

COMPETE IN KEY CLUB’s FIRST “BATTLE” BALL TOURNAMENT benefiting The Children’s Miracle Network. Create a team
and pick up the packet from Mr. Hammett in portable ONE for the tournament that will take place in the cafeteria on
December 13 at 4pm.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE ENVIRONMENT and Come to the #UNLITTER club’s kick-off event #UNLITTER Our Beach at
Carlin Park this Saturday November 23 at 10am. Free donuts, bagels, and more. Community service hours will be given.
Please bring your own community service sheet and a reusable cup for provided drinks. New members and guests are

DANCE MARATHON is hosting a holiday movie night on Friday, December 6th at 7pm in the courtyard. Tickets are $10 at
the door and snacks will be available for purchase. Invite your friends and family and bring your own lawn chair to enjoy
a holiday movie under the stars.
JV BASKETBALL The Lady Warriors had an impressive win over Atlantic on Tuesday night. Tiffany Lynch led the team with
11 points, Tati Paz Bedolla scored 9 points, and Charlotte Simon cleaned up with 6 points. This was truly a team win with
ALL Warriors contributing to the final score of 43-16.
VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL came from behind Tuesday night to defeat Atlantic High School 54-52 led by Lexi Lynch with
23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Elliana Manzo scored 12 points while Veronica Edwards scored 8 points and added
8 rebounds. The lady warriors are now 2 and 0 on the season.
TRACK & FIELD There is a call out meeting for Track & Field on Monday, December 2 from 3-3:45pm in the Fitness Room.
Be ready to work out! Make sure you have your FHSAA paperwork completed.
THE BOYS AND GIRLS SWIM & DIVE TEAM had an amazing day at the 4A State Swimming and Diving Championship in
Stuart, FL on Friday. The Boys team place 6th and the Girls team placed 9th out of 45 schools. Top performers besides
Tyler Coffey in Diving, Varis Monroe Placed second and the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle breaking the school
record in both events. Varis 2 swims placed him on the High School All-American list. Nick Gallego placed 10th and the
200 Ind. Medley and 8th in the 100 Backstroke breaking the school record in both events. Caleb Petranchuk broke the
school record in the 100 Butterfly placing 9th. The team of Josh Curtis, Nick Gallego, Varis Monroe and Caleb Petranchuk
broke School Records in the 200 Freestyle Relay and 400 Freestyle Relays placing 4th in both. On the Girls side in the
Diving event Leila Glowka placed 4th, Peyton Gaillard placed 8th and Haley Fekete placed 9th. Heidi Smithwick placed
3rd in the 50 Freestyle and 7th in the 100 Breaststroke breaking the school record in both events. The Team of Kiara
Caamano, Morgan Cogle, Heidi Smithwick, Maya Amersi placed 9th in the 200 Freestyle Relay, and Michaela Avedisian,
Kiara Caamano, Morgan Cogle, Heidi Smithwick placed 11th in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Both Team ended the season
undefeated and winning the North Division Championship, District and Regional Championships. Congratulations to
both Teams Great Season!!
