THE JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACADEMY partnering with Jeffro’s Heroes to help children who are less
fortunate receive toys this holiday season. Drop off new unwrapped toys in room 4-206, the Main Office, or give them to
any CJA student. Community service hours will be given.
SENIORS Get help applying for the George Snow Fund Scholarship as well as The Community Foundation of Palm Beach
and Martin Counties scholarship with representatives from both foundations on December 6 at 9 am. Seniors only, sign
up in guidance to attend.
REMINDER the EOC retakes for Alg 1, Geometry, Biology, and US History will begin on the Monday we return from
ATTENTION STUDENTS: There will be a One Tribe meeting during lunch on Wednesday, December 4. Please plan on
attending so we can discuss some upcoming One Tribe events. The meeting will take place in Mr. Day’s room 6-207.
THE RONALD MCDONALD CLUB 1ST PERIOD HOLIDAY CONTEST – The first hour that collects the most pull tabs will be
treated to something special to eat. Please have the tabs rinsed, bagged and labeled with the total count. Turn into Ms.
Lanza’s Rm 4-116 by January 17.
STUDENTS AGAINST MELANOMA – THE LAST SAM club meeting of 2019 is during lunch on Dec. 5th in the auditorium –
lunch will be provided.
THE JAPANESE CLUB Meets today in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115 after school. This will be the last day to bring money
for your t-shirts!
THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY Induction Ceremony is on Monday December 2nd at 6:30 pm in the JHS
Auditorium. All are welcome to attend.
NATIONAL FRENCH HONOR SOCIETY Supply Drive is for Bahamian children whose schools and homes are being rebuilt
after Hurricane Dorian. To participate, fill a shoebox labeled with either school supplies or toiletries on top. Bring the
box to Mrs. Sidman in room 5-114 by December 5. Community service hours will be offered. See Mrs. Sidman or any
member of the French Honor Society with questions. Thank you for your support.
COMPETE IN KEY CLUB’s 1ST “BATTLE” BALL TOURNAMENT benefiting The Children’s Miracle Network by creating an 8-
person team and picking up the packet from Mr. Hammett in portable ONE. The tournament takes place in the cafeteria
on December 13 at 4pm. Teachers and Administrators are invited to create their own team.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE ENVIRONMENT & Come to the #UNLITTER club’s kick-off event #UNLITTER Our Beach at
Carlin Park tomorrow (11/23) at 10am. (Free donuts, bagels, and more). Please bring your own community service sheet
and a reusable cup for provided drinks. New members and guests welcome and encouraged to come. To join, text

DANCE MARATHON is hosting a holiday movie night on Friday, December 6th at 7pm in the courtyard. Tickets are $10 at
the door and snacks will be available for purchase. Invite your friends and Family and Bring your own lawn chair to enjoy
a holiday movie under the stars.
GIRLS SOCCER team beat John I Leonard 8-0 on Wednesday night. Bella Benavente was the leading scorer with 3 goals.
Ashley Hearn added 2 goals with Kate Bonnoront, Kiki Cobey and Mia Delaney each adding one. Kate, Ashley and
Caroline O’Keefe all tallied assists. Maddie Brown added “Assistant Coach” to her resume, flawlessly managing the
substitutions and position changes. The Warriors next game is Tuesday, December 3 at home.
TRACK & FIELD There is a call out meeting for Track & Field on Monday, December 2 from 3-3:45pm in the Fitness Room.
Be ready to work out! Make sure you have your FHSAA paperwork completed.
