THE GOLDEN GALA! Junior-Senior Prom will take place on Saturday, April 18th at the Wyndham Grand Hotel at
Harbourside. Tickets go on sale early at discounted prices for students that have fulfilled the requirements, so make sure
to pay your dues and eliminate all outstanding obligations. Seniors who attended prom in 2019, and have paid dues in
full will be able to pick up a free ticket February 14-17, and seniors with dues paid but no previous attendance can
purchase their discounted $50 ticket February 17-21. As of February 18, seniors with full dues not paid, and didn’t go to
prom last year can purchase full price tickets for $100. Juniors with dues paid can purchase discounted $80 tickets
February 19-27, and full price tickets are available to all Juniors and Seniors from February 20 – March 20. After Spring
Break, the price increases to $125, so don’t delay in your purchase. Don’t forget you need your Prom contract to
purchase a ticket. Seniors pick one up from Ms. Heard and Juniors pick up from Ms. DeLeonardo.
JUNIORS & SENIORS The Collegeboard is awarding scholarships to students who complete key steps along their path to
college. Juniors – Build Your College List for a chance at $500 and Practice for the SAT® for a chance at $1,000. Seniors –
February is the final month for you to participate in the program. Complete the FAFSA® to earn a chance at $1,000.
Apply to Colleges to earn another chance at $1,000. Complete Your Journey with all six action steps for a chance at a

JHS SPEECH AND DEBATE The Team is holding a fundraiser at the Jupiter CHIPOTLE today (2/4) from 4-8 PM. Present one
of the flyers taped to our hallway walls (help yourself – just please use them!) or tell your cashier BEFORE you order that
you are supporting your speech and debate team. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts to make travel
tournaments available to all students.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Varsity Competitive Cheerleaders for bringing home the FHSAA Competitive Cheerleading
State Title in the Medium Varsity Tumble Division. Hitting a zero deduction routine the team earned the highest score
JHS Cheer has ever achieved in the state finals & rank #2 out of over 100 teams among all of the 2A divisions at the state
level. They will compete in the National High School Cheerleading Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports this
ONE TRIBE EVENT Thursday night’s basketball game will be the last home game of the season for our Warriors. It is
senior night for both the Boys Basketball team and the Lady Warrior Dance Team. We would like to encourage you to
come to the game and wear white (the color the home team will be wearing). If you would like to make a poster for the
Senior boys basketball or the Senior Lady Dance team members, please come by 6-207 to make your poster. See ya at
the game. Start time is 7 p.m.
