FREE HOMEWORK HELP The Palm Beach County Library’s Tutor.com offers free online tutoring in math, science, social
studies and language arts. Live one-to-one help is available everyday from 12:00 pm – 12:00 am. Assistance provided in
Spanish every day from 2:00 pm-12:00 am. All you need is a library card.
ANY SENIOR who is interested in applying for the Science Endorsement Award, please see your current science teacher
or Mrs. Mooney in room 7-107. Applications are due by March 13th. Applications are also available on our Website
JUNIORS If you want a free ticket to your senior prom, then you must attend prom this year as a junior. If you want to
get a discounted ticket this year, then you have until March 20th to pay your class dues and purchase your discounted
Prom 2020 ticket. So what are you waiting for?! Get your class of 2021 dues paid and get your Prom 2020 ticket while
they last! See either Mr. DeLeonardo in 4-217 or Mrs. DeLeonardo in 3-105 for dues, contracts and tickets. I wouldn’t
miss it, if I were you!
MEDICAL ACADEMY Seniors, This years’ award ceremony will be held at Abacoa Country Club. Stop by room 7-106 to
pick up your invitation to this event before March 13th. Deadlines for this event are approaching quickly and you don’t
want to miss out. Please share this information with your academy classmates.
ANY SENIOR going on the April 3 Grad Bash trip, final payment and permission slips are due TODAY, March 6. If these
items are not received you will forfeit your seat. Please make sure you have signed up for the Grad Bash Remind to get

THE PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE SUMMER DUAL ENROLLMENT registration window begins March 17th and runs
through May 15th for Summer A and May 22nd for Summer B. Interested students must be eligible for the Dual
Enrollment Program with a 3.0 cumulative GPA, college ready test scores, and attend a mandatory PBSC Advising
Session. PBSC will have an Advising Session here at JHS on April 8th

Enrollment Program is available on the JHS website and in the Dual Enrollment Center in Guidance.
WAR CRY & CHIEFTAIN Applications for the school Newspaper and Yearbook Classes are due in full today (3/6). Please

SOCIAL STUDIES HONOR SOCIETY SENIORS Please drop off your $15 dues to Mrs. Hanssen in Rm 5-112 BETWEEN classes
or during lunch. IMPORTANT: Please put the exact amount in a sealed envelope. Write your first and last name and
student number on the outside of the envelope. NO money will be accepted after today (3/6). If you don’t pay the dues,
you will not get your chord for graduation.

THE UNLITTER CLUB will be having a Beach Cleanup on Saturday March 14th from 8:30-10:30. Please come help cleanup
our local beaches and earn community service hours!!

BLAZE PIZZA NIGHT Is on March 20th from 1-8pm to support Jupiter High HOSA. 20% of the proceeds will go towards the
fund to support students who will be attending the state conference in Orlando this upcoming April. So please bring
your family and friends on March 20th from 1-8pm at the Indiantown Blaze. We thank YOU for coming and supporting

THE JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE DEPARTMENT Is hosting Dinner and a Show next Friday (3/13) at 6:15 pm in the
auditorium. Auditions are Monday, March 9th directly after school in room 9-111. Prepare a song or dance from any
Broadway show, or present a monologue or scene from a published play. Please come and try out for this true Variety
Show. Dinner for you and your family starts on March 13th at 5:30 pm in the lobby with food provided by local
restaurants. For the suggested donation of $10, you get a great meal and a great show, and more importantly, you are
supporting a great cause, the JHS Theatre department and their spring field trips and productions. Come, eat, and be
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY applications are available in Rm 1-155, periods 1-6 and Lunch and on the JHS website.

BOY’S WEIGHTLIFTING The team beat Dwyer and Gardens Wednesday night with Jupiter scoring 65 points to Dwyer’s 31
and Gardens 5. First place winners were: Ethan Carpenter (119), Myles Horton (129), Jose Rodriguez (139), Tyler Talarico
(169), Max Gordon (183), D’orie Smith (199), Logan Trim (219), Lionel Orantes (238), Jaden Heredia (Unlimited). Our next
meet will be at home next Wednesday 4 pm vs. Suncoast, Cardinal Newman, Palm Beach Lakes and John I. Leonard.

BOTH BOYS LACROSSE TEAMS travel to Wellington for another district battle on Monday, March 9th. JV begins at 5 pm
and Varsity begins at 7 pm.
