COPS & TEEN TALK IS TODAY (@3:15 pm at the Community Center. Pizza, drinks and snacks, along with Community
service hours will be given.
STUDENTS interested in Pulsar Research for radio astronomy, please meet in P 17 Monday’s at lunchtime. Please bring
your lunch.
THE CLASS OF 2023 is hosting the Kindness Bingo Challenge NEXT WEEK in light of Mental Health Awareness. Here’s how
it works. You will receive a bingo card via your ELA Teachers THIS FRIDAY. On the card is a 4 by 4 square that contains 16
different acts of kindness. If a teacher or administrator sees you doing an act of kindness listed on the card, they can
initial that box. Complete this card to have a chance at winning gift cards. Didn’t fill it out? Turn it in to receive other
prizes including a Donut Party! You have until the Last 20 minutes of 7th Period to turn in your card to your ELA Teacher
NEXT Friday March 20.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION 2020-2021 SGA Applications for current Middle School 8th Graders and
JHS Freshmen and Sophomores are available on the JHS Website and are due by April 3.
FSA RETAKES for 11th and 12th graders are starting right now. Please report to the Media Center. Algebra 1 EOC retakes
are Thursday and Friday.
THE MEDICAL ACADEMY is having their annual 5k this Saturday, March 14th. If you would like to register to run, walk,
dance, or just cheer on the racers, please go to jupitermedicalacademy.com. All proceeds go directly towards senior
scholarships that YOU can apply for. We would love to see you there,
JUNIORS If you want a free ticket to your senior prom, then you must attend prom this year as a junior. If you want to
get a discounted ticket this year, then you have until March 20th to pay your class dues and purchase your discounted
Prom 2020 ticket. Pay your class of 2021 dues and get your Prom 2020 ticket while they last! See either Mr. DeLeonardo
in 4-217 or Mrs. DeLeonardo in 3-105 for dues, contracts and tickets.
MEDICAL ACADEMY Seniors, This years’ award ceremony will be held at Abacoa Country Club. Stop by room 7-106 to
pick up your invitation to this event before March 13th. Don’t miss out. Please share with your academy classmates.
THE TAKE DOWN TOBACCO NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION is a day of activism where communities across the globe rally to
push for the first tobacco-free generation. Youth tobacco rates are at a 20-year high in the U.S. due to the worsening
youth e-cigarette epidemic, and tobacco is still the No. 1 cause of death in the U.S. and across the globe. On March 18,
2020, students, teachers, parents, elected leaders, health professionals, advocates and concerned citizens just like you
are standing up to Take Down Tobacco. SWAT will have more information on this event soon.
MATH HONOR SOCIETY Attention all members who are interested in becoming an officer, please pick up an application
form in room 6-106. Forms MUST be turned in by March 20th during lunch to be considered.
THE UNLITTER CLUB Is having a Beach Cleanup on Saturday, March 14th from 8:30-10:30. Please come help cleanup our
local beaches and earn community service hours!!
BLAZE PIZZA NIGHT Is on March 20th from 1-8pm to support Jupiter High HOSA. 20% of the proceeds will go towards the
fund to support students who will be attending the state conference in Orlando in April. Please bring your family and
friends. Thank YOU for coming and supporting our club!
THE JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE DEPARTMENT Is hosting Dinner and a Show Friday (3/13) at 6:15 pm in the
auditorium. Dinner for you and your family starts at 5:30 pm in the lobby with food provided by local restaurants. For
the suggested donation of $10, you get a great meal and a great show, and more importantly, you are supporting a great
cause, the JHS Theatre department and their spring field trips and productions. Come, eat, and be entertained!
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY applications are available in Rm 1-155, periods 1-6 and Lunch and on the JHS website.
Requirements: 3.0 or higher unweighted GPA, 100 hours of community service, Applications are due no later than

ATTENTION STUDENTS, FACULTY, ADMINISTRATION and all those who identify as something other than one of those
three things: One Tribe will be hosting a One Tribe event at this Friday’s baseball and softball games. Meet at 6:30 to
make posters for your favorite ball players and be there to support the teams. See ya there.
WRESTLING There will be a meeting on Thursday after school in room 4-109 for all wrestlers and anyone interested in
wrestling next year. The meeting will be as quick as possible. Likely an hour.
