INTERESTED IN BABYSITTING? The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue will be teaching safety basics and how to plan ahead
for a safe and successful babysitting experience on Saturday, March 14 from 9:30am – 12pm at the Jupiter Branch
Library. Preregister at (561) 744-2301 or at the Children’s desk.
ANY SENIOR wanting to apply for the Five Science Endorsement Award, applications are due to Mrs. Mooney in room 7-
107 by the end of the day tomorrow (Friday, March 13th).
CURRENT SOPHOMORES Did you know that the junior class hosts prom every year? Are you interested in getting
involved with your class to make it all possible? The class of 2022 is looking for candidates for office for your Junior year!
We are accepting applications for President, Vice President, Historian, and Secretary. Not only is this a great
opportunity to get involved with your class, but also a great leadership opportunity. If you are interested in running for
a position, please pick up an application from Mrs. Jeffs in 5-207 or from Mr. Day in 6-207. Completed applications and
speeches are due the morning of Wednesday, April 1st. Any questions please see Mrs. Jeffs or Mr. Day.

THE CLASS OF 2023 is hosting the Kindness Challenge NEXT WEEK during Mental Health Awareness. This is how it works.
You will receive a Kindness Card from your English Teacher tomorrow that contains 16 acts of kindness. If a teacher or
administrator sees you doing an act of kindness listed on the card, they can initial that box. Complete this card to have a
chance at winning gift cards. Didn’t fill it all out? Turn it in to receive other prizes including a Donut Party! You have until
the Last 20 minutes of 7th Period to turn in your card to your English Teacher NEXT Friday March 20. This is for all grades
not just the Class of 2023. Be Kind Warriors!
LEADERSHIP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION 2020-2021 SGA Applications for current Middle School 8th Graders and
JHS Freshmen and Sophomores are available on the JHS Website and are due by April 3.
JUNIORS If you want a free ticket to your senior prom, then you must attend prom this year as a junior. If you want to
get a discounted ticket this year, then you have until March 20th to pay your class dues and purchase your discounted
Prom 2020 ticket. Pay your class of 2021 dues and get your Prom 2020 ticket while they last! See either Mr. DeLeonardo
in 4-217 or Mrs. DeLeonardo in 3-105 for dues, contracts and tickets.
MEDICAL ACADEMY Seniors, This years’ award ceremony will be held at Abacoa Country Club. Stop by room 7-106 to

THANK YOU to all students who participated in the shoe drive for the organization “In Jacob’s Shoes”. Jupiter High
donated over 100 pairs of shoes and helped the organization reach a record total of 3,563 pairs of shoes, more shoes
than the organization had collected in their 11 year history. Great job JHS!
THE JAPANESE CLUB will be meeting this Friday (3/13) after school in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115.
BLOOD DRIVE COMMITTEE Please join us on Monday, March 16th during lunch in room 7-101. We will be having a
meeting to discuss and plan the final blood drive of the year! You must attend this meeting to participate in the drive!

BEST BUDDIES Stop by the table in the courtyard today. Sign up to join us or support us for the Friendship Walk, which is
held on May 16th at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. Anyone who raises $50.00, gets a free walk t-shirt.
THE TAKE DOWN TOBACCO NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION is a day of activism where communities across the globe rally to
push for the first tobacco-free generation. Youth tobacco rates are at a 20-year high in the U.S. due to the worsening
youth e-cigarette epidemic, and tobacco is still the No. 1 cause of death in the U.S. and across the globe. On March 18,
2020, students, teachers, parents, elected leaders, health professionals, advocates and concerned citizens just like you
are standing up to Take Down Tobacco. SWAT will have more information on this event soon.
MATH HONOR SOCIETY Attention all members who are interested in becoming an officer, please pick up an application
form in room 6-106. Forms MUST be turned in by March 20th during lunch to be considered.
THE UNLITTER CLUB Is having a Beach Cleanup on Saturday, March 14th from 8:30-10:30. Please come help cleanup our
local beaches and earn community service hours!!
BLAZE PIZZA NIGHT Is on March 20th from 1-8pm to support Jupiter High HOSA. 20% of the proceeds will go towards the
fund to support students who will be attending the state conference in Orlando in April. Please bring your family and
friends. Thank YOU for coming and supporting our club!
THE JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE DEPARTMENT Is hosting Dinner and a Show Friday (3/13) at 6:15 pm in the
auditorium. Dinner for you and your family starts at 5:30 pm in the lobby with food provided by local restaurants. For
the suggested donation of $10, you get a great meal and a great show, and more importantly, you are supporting a great
cause, the JHS Theatre department and their spring field trips and productions. Come, eat, and be entertained!

ONE TRIBE is hosting an event at this Friday’s baseball and softball games. Meet at 6:30 to make posters for your
favorite ball players and be there to support the teams. See ya there.
WRESTLING There will be a meeting today (Thursday) after school in room 4-109 for all wrestlers and anyone interested
in wrestling next year. The meeting will be as quick as possible. Likely an hour.
