CLASS NEWS
WARRIORS, if you are taking an AICE course this year, you should have already received your official “Statement of
Entry” form that lists the exams you’re taking as well as your personal identification info. If you have not seen this
important document, please ask of your AICE teachers to contact Ms. Saunders or stop by and see her in Guidance. If
you are taking your 7th AICE exam this year, it is important that you see “AICE DIPLOMA” listed as one of your exam
entries. If not, you could be in jeopardy of not earning the international diploma certificate. Please see Ms. Saunders
with any questions or concerns about this process.
ANY SENIOR wanting to apply for the Five Science Endorsement Award, applications are due to Mrs. Mooney in room 7-
107 by the end of the day today, March 13th.
CURRENT SOPHOMORES The class of 2022 is looking for candidates for office for your Junior year! We are accepting
applications for President, Vice President, Historian, and Secretary. Not only is this a great opportunity to get involved
with your class, but also a great leadership opportunity. If you are interested in running for a position, please pick up an
application from Mrs. Jeffs in 5-207 or from Mr. Day in 6-207 . Completed applications and speeches are due the
morning of Wednesday, April 1st. Any questions please see Mrs. Jeffs or Mr. Day.
ASTRONOMY Those interested in Pulsar Research for radio astronomy, please meet in P 17 Monday’s at lunchtime.
Please bring your lunch.
NEXT WEEK we will be celebrating Mental Health Awareness week! Special activities include: Meditation in the
auditorium, Interactive Art in the atrium, Mental-health focused lessons, Therapy dogs, Rock painting and more. Stay
tuned for more info next week.
THE CLASS OF 2023 is hosting the Kindness Challenge for all grades NEXT WEEK during Mental Health Awareness. You
will receive a Kindness Card from your English Teacher today that contains 16 acts of kindness. Complete the card all
next week by having a teacher or administrator initial your act of kindness for a chance at a gift card. Turn in your
Kindness Card even if you didn’t complete it to receive other prizes including a Donut Party! Cards must me turned in to
your English teacher by 7th Period on Friday, March 20. Have Fun & Be Kind Warriors!
LEADERSHIP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION 2020-2021 SGA Applications for current Middle School 8th Graders and
JHS Freshmen and Sophomores are available on the JHS Website and are due by April 3.

THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY will be wrapping up their popcorn fundraiser on Friday, March 20th.
Members, make sure to pick up your popcorn before next Friday.
THE JAPANESE CLUB Meets today (3/13) after school in Coach Andersen’s room 6-115.
BLOOD DRIVE COMMITTEE Please join us on Monday, March 16th during lunch in room 7-101. We will be having a
meeting to discuss and plan the final blood drive of the year! You must attend this meeting to participate in the drive!

MATH HONOR SOCIETY Attention all members who are interested in becoming an officer, please pick up an application
form in room 6-106. Forms MUST be turned in by March 20th during lunch to be considered.
THE UNLITTER CLUB Is having a Beach Cleanup tomorrow, March 14th from 8:30-10:30. Please come help clean up our
local beaches and earn community service hours!!
BLAZE PIZZA NIGHT Is on March 20th from 1-8pm to support Jupiter High HOSA. 20% of the proceeds will go towards the
fund to support students who will be attending the state conference in Orlando in April. Please bring your family and
friends. Thank YOU for coming and supporting our club!
THE JUPITER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE DEPARTMENT Is hosting Dinner and a Show tonight (3/13) at 6:15 pm in the
auditorium. Dinner starts at 5:30 pm in the lobby with food provided by local restaurants. For the suggested donation of
$10, you get a great meal and a great show, and more importantly, you are supporting a great cause, the JHS Theatre
department and their spring field trips and productions. Come, eat, and be entertained!
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY Applicants, Please read the application instructions concerning teacher recommendations as
they are to be in a sealed envelope from the teacher and placed in the application packet. Need help with your
application? Please see Mrs. Sparks in room 1-155. She will gladly help with your application before school, during

THE ONE TRIBE event scheduled for tonight’s ballgames has been postponed until a later date. Stay tuned to hear about

BOYS VARSITY LACROSSE travels to Sarasota to take on Cardinal Mooney at 7:30 pm TONIGHT. If you cannot attend in
