MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY Students log in to the portal and access the suite 360 Tile for the lesson for each period. The selected curriculum was created by experts in the field of Mental health!

ATTENTION SENIORS! Are you a leader among your peers?  Have you dedicated your time and energy to helping our school and our community?  Are you interested in earning as much as $4,000 toward your college tuition?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be a qualified candidate for the PRESTIGIOUS 2021 PATHFINDER AWARDS. Download the Pathfinder Nomination Form and complete it in full by Friday, November 13th. TODAY is the last day to sign up for Best Buddies.  We will make the matches later this week.  Information regarding dues, shirts etc will be posted in our google classroom.  Once again, the code is pwfbid2

GREEN TEAM is a club dedicated to keeping Jupiter High School clean and sustainable. We work with organizations in our community as well as starting events and initiatives in our own school. We also paddle, camp, and travel! In addition, the opportunity for community service points and school recycling is available to all, even if you don’t join the club! SOFTBALL Any girl interested in trying out for softball, there will be a google meet on Thursday, November 5th at 7:00PM. This meeting is for players and least one parent or guardian to attend. The join code is bvdu4wa. Any questions you can email Coach Ahern.

JUPITER POLICE DEPARTMENT COPS TEENS TALK The Program is starting back up in person and with a new schedule and location! It will now be held every 2nd Tuesday at 3:15 PM in the NEW police department located next to the Community Center in the JPD Community Room.  The program is an opportunity for you to meet your local police officers and discuss topics that are important to high school teens like you. Topics may include: personal wellbeing, personal safety, mental illness, school safety, drugs and alcohol addiction, police interactions, social media, bullying, and more.  Come build relationships, enjoy some food as well as earn community service hours. We will be taking extra safety precautions. Areas will be thoroughly sanitized, social distancing will be practiced, and masks will be mandatory unless eating. ATTENTION SENIORS Now is the time to purchase and design your senior ad in the award-winning 2021 Chieftain Yearbook. Go to www.yearbookordercenter.com for predesigned templates, or email photos and wording to Mrs. Muncy in one email, with size and layout preferences. Now is also the time to schedule your senior portraits at Cady Studios. The deadline to have your portraits taken for inclusion in the 2021 yearbook is Dec. 31. GIRLS BASKETBALL Any girl interested in playing basketball for JHS this year should either stop by and see Coach Lynch in portable 5 or email him at [email protected] In order to try out you must complete the entire athletic packet on the school website and turn it into our athletic director ASAP.  You may not try out or participate until it is turned in and approved. –Coach Lynch

LATINOS IN ACTION PROJECT TOYS FOR TOTS TO GUATEMALA Donate unwrapped toys (cars, trucks, puzzles, dolls, action figures, teddy bears, other small toys) Bring your donation to the courtyard from 7-7:30 am now – Nov. 20. You may receive 2 community service hours for each toy donated. Gracias!

SPEAK UP FOR KIDS Is putting together 15 baskets filled with essentials for kids in need. For every $10 of items donated, 1 community service hour will be awarded through the Speak up for Kids and Guardian ad Litem Foundation. Bring all sealed and unused donations to Rm 6-207. We encourage you to DM questions and suggestions to our Instagram @jhssga, or use our QR codes located in the 5000 hallway, 7000 hallway, atrium, and other various locations. Teachers, we encourage you to select one brick and mortar student to attend the student forum and bring back information.
