CONGRATULATIONS SPEECH & DEBATE students who competed this past weekend at the Florida Oceanfront NSDA District Qualifier Tournament.  Patrick Conrad placed 4th in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking.  Moving on to Nationals are Reese Barrett who placed second in Congressional Debate and Jackson Beecher and Kelly Gibbs who placed second in Public Forum Debate.  Everyone did a great job!

Congratulations to the phenomenal people in ROTC! The Raider Female Team Placed 1st at the District Championship. The Raider Male Team  Placed 3rd  And the Raider Mixed Team Placed 2nd.

CLASS OF 2023 MASK DESIGN CONTEST All grade levels are encouraged to participate. One winner will be selected from each grade.

JUNIORS The SAT will be given at JHS tomorrow at 7:30am.  All Juniors (virtual and brick & mortar) are already registered, just show up!  Room assignments were emailed yesterday. Locators will be posted in the atrium. Parking is extremely limited and students are encouraged to be dropped off. Standard time testing will be finished at 12:30pm.  50% extended time will finish at 2pm. Students should bring: a Calculator, #2 pencils (NOT Mechanical), ID, Mask, Sweater/jacket, Optional -snacks/water. All students, even virtual, need to submit a parent note to student services to be able to leave after the test.  Notes may be emailed to [email protected]. Non-testers- 9th, 10th, 12th, (and 11th graders not taking the SAT) will work virtually for the full day.  If non-testers come to campus, they will go to the gym periods 1-5, then released to lunch and their regular 6th and 7th hour classes to continue their virtual assignments.

SGA is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are a current 8th, 9th, or 10th grader, you can now apply to join SGA through our website, https://sites.google.com/stu.palmbeachschools.org/jhssga/sga-applications. All parts of the application are required. You must TYPE the answers to the questions. Answers should be honest, clear, and complete. Completed applications, including teacher recommendations, are due to Mr. DeLeonardo at Jupiter High by April 15, 2021. Email completed application to [email protected] OR place everything in an envelope and drop it in the main office ℅ SGA Advisor.

COURSE SELECTION SY22 Students, log into your portal and choose the elective options that are right for you! Make sure you review next year’s grade level course selection sheet, the JHS curriculum guide, and short promo videos for many of the academy and elective programs.  You can find all of these resources on the JHS website–under the Course Selection Tab!
