TRYOUTS for the 2021 Football Team will take place May 3rd through May 8th and are open to any current student at JHS.  In order to tryout you must have a 2.0 GPA and a completed Athletic Eligibility Packet (https://jhs.palmbeachschools.org/common/pages/DisplayFile.aspx?itemId=13059250) on file in the Athletic Director’s office BEFORE May 3rd.  Any questions, please see Coach Tharp. 

FRIDAY, APRIL 23 AUTHOR VISIT AND POETRY READING In partnership with The Palm Beach Poetry Festival, the Department of Educational Technology is pleased to present an online poetry reading by Brian Turner, America’s prize-winning soldier-poet, in celebration of National Poetry Month. THE LITTLE SMILES CLUB meets today after school at 2:45 in room 4-110. The meeting will also be held via the Google Meet link in the Little Smiles Google Classroom. SENIORS TO BE, DO YOU WANT A PARKING PERMIT NEXT YEAR? Here’s what you have to do: You MUST have at least a 2.5 GPA.You MUST NOT have 10 or more absences per semester in ANY classes in SY21. You MUST have completed at least 20 hours of community service. You MUST NOT have any outstanding obligations to JHS. You MUST NOT have any major deferrals. Class of 2021 Social Studies Honor Society members Seniors who have NOT paid dues this year will not get a cord and be recognized in the graduation program. The deadline to pay on Cashless Schools is Friday, April 23rd. After that time, it will be too late. ALL TEXTBOOKS must be returned on the day of your exam. Returns will be set up in the hallway next to the media center. You may return any textbook in the Media Center if you are finished with it. There will be a bin outside the main office for virtual students not returning to campus.
