JHS STUDENT NEWS FOR MONDAY, APRIL 26, 2021

2021 GREEN SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE JHS once again, has been awarded the Green School of Excellence by showing the highest level of commitment to sustainability in the following categories:

TRYOUTS for the 2021 Football Team will take place May 3rd through May 8th and are open to any current student at JHS.  In order to tryout you must have a 2.0 GPA and a completed Athletic Eligibility Packet on file in the Athletic Director’s office BEFORE May 3rd.  Any questions, please see Coach Tharp. https://jhs.palmbeachschools.org/common/pages/DisplayFile.aspx?itemId=13059250

SENIORS TO BE, DO YOU WANT A PARKING PERMIT NEXT YEAR? Here’s what you have to do: You MUST have at least a 2.5 GPA. You MUST NOT have 10 or more absences per semester in ANY classes in SY21. You MUST have completed at least 20 hours of community service. You MUST NOT have any outstanding obligations to JHS. You MUST NOT have any major deferrals. Parking passes will be sold to SENIORS ONLY May 3-14th. Starting May 17th RISING JUNIORS may begin purchasing parking passes. https://forms.gle/4Q5UvXxGXB6ZJAoJ9

ATTENTION STUDENTS AGAINST MELANOMA: The last SAM Club meeting of the year takes place on Thursday, April 29th at 3:15pm.  All members should attend.  Exciting volunteer opportunities will be presented at this brief meeting.  Please click the link on Google Classroom.  See you there!

THE CHILDHOOD CANCER SUPPORT CLUB will have its final meeting of the year on Tuesday, April 27th at 3:15pm. We look forward to seeing all members there! 

ALL TEXTBOOKS must be returned on the day of your exam. Returns will be set up in the hallway next to the media center. You may return any textbook in the Media Center if you are finished with it. There will be a bin outside the main office for virtual students not returning to campus.
