TEXTBOOK RETURNS All textbooks must be returned by Monday, June 14th. If you are no longer using it, turn it in to the media center if you are on campus, or to the bin in front of the school if you are virtual. Textbook collection will be available before and after your scheduled AP, AICE, and EOC tests. CHROMEBOOKS must be turned in if you are: A Senior, Not returning to campus in August, the Chromebook is in need of repair. Chromebooks should be kept over the summer if you plan on returning to campus in August and it is not in need of repair.

BOYS VARSITY LACROSSE takes on St. Thomas Aquinas High School in the Regional Finals TONIGHT.  The game is at St. Thomas and starts at 7pm.

COMPUTER SCIENCE HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS Go to CSHS Google Classroom and complete assignments before May 1st. (1. Look at the attached spreadsheet to see what is missing. 2. Fill out the CSHS Google Forms Checklist. 3. Upload Community Service Log. 4. Complete Fundraiser Registration and send out the personal link.)

NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY JUNIORS AND SENIORS Go to NTHS Google Classroom and complete assignments before May 1st. 1. Look at the attached spreadsheet to see what is missing. 2. Fill out the NTHS Google Forms Checklist. 3. Upload Community Service Log. 4. Complete Fundraiser Registration and send out the personal link.

DUAL ENROLLMENT- The registration deadline for the summer term at PBSC is May 14th.  Students may take 1 or 2 classes (up to 8 credit hrs) during a term.  The Summer Request Form is on the JHS website.  (https://sites.google.com/palmbeachschools.org/jhscollege/dual-enrollment-experienced). Fall registration does not begin until June 1st.   Students must complete fall registration before the last day of school.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE APRIL STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

The Freshman student has shown big improvements in his writing since the beginning of the year, and has become one of the leader’s in AICE General Paper class.  He always engages in meaningful class discussions, and has risen to the challenge of such a hard class. Congratulations to… Max Paggetti!

The Sophomore student is balancing a challenging class load and meeting expectations in all subjects.  She is the first to ask questions in class and always volunteers to assist when a volunteer is needed. Congratulations to Faantaja Norzea!

The Junior student has been extremely supportive and creative in Holocaust Studies class, as well as play football and take photos on the side, one of his interests. Congratulations to Jake Russo!

The Senior student always comes to class early and never fails to participate in class. He recently competed in the School Duel competition with Hannah Dickinson and Jacob Roman and defeated Christopher Columbus High School. Congratulations to Caleb Petranchuk!

Teachers, if you have that special student that you’ve been waiting until the end to nominate, now is the time. We have two more months to go, and with that, that is all we have for you today! Until next time!

SGA NEWS We have one contested school wide election for SY22 SGA Officers. On Monday, May 3rd, your first period teacher will link a google form in their classroom, which is the platform for voting. Please note: Students are limited to ONE vote only. The winners of this election will NOT be announced through any platform other than the JHS Student News and the official SGA Instagram, @jhssga.
