CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WAR CRY MEMBERS for being awarded a Silver Distinction for digital news, just one point shy of Gold. The staff has worked extra hard this year to upload stories and cover the events and people of our school, so this honor is much deserved. THE BOYS LACROSSE TEAM is heading to States!! TODAY all day – anyone friends, family, or other can purchase a $1 Ice Cream at Culver’s and 100% of the sale goes to support our agriculture program at Jupiter High School.

SENIOR BOYS ATTENDING UF THIS FALL The Balanced Man Scholarship rewards students who have excelled in their academics, leadership skills, and dedication to their health and well-being. The Florida Alpha Chapter at UF, SigEp believes that acknowledging students who demonstrate balance and all-around excellence is one way to promote this important idea. Each year the scholarship is awarded to male scholars that exemplify the values that align with SigEp. It is not required for applicants to join the chapter in order to receive the scholarship. Please feel free to visit the UF SigEp website for more information. Deadline to apply is July 15.

LITTLE SMILES CLUB MEMBERS Meet today (5/6) at 2:45 p.m. in room 4-110 and via the Google Meet link in Google Classroom. Please plan to attend, as we’ll have a special guest and will be discussing some fun and safe volunteer opportunities. New members are always welcome. The Google Classroom code is czcmqiz. AP U.S. History, 7:45AM, AP Computer Science “A”, 11:45AM, AP Art History, 11:45AM, AICE Global Perspectives, 11:45AM Remember Students who are registered as virtual will receive a pass at the end of testing which allows them to leave campus as soon as testing is over.  They do not need a separate parent note, phone call, etc.   Students who are registered as B&M and who want to leave campus after testing will need a note and approval from Student Services.  The Attendance Office can update any students icon via a parent phone call or e-mail to [email protected]

LOVE TO SHOP? Then why wouldn’t you SHOP FOR A CAUSE? Gardens Dermatology and the SAM Club are partnering with Kendra Scott to give back to our community, by hosting a shopping party. When you make purchases between 1 and 4 pm on Saturday May 15th, 20% of the proceeds will go to the Melanoma Foundation.  Please come shop.  Bring your family and friends.

THE 2021 BEYOND BREAST CANCER VIRTUAL WALKATHON will be held by the Beyond Breast Cancer club on May 22 at 8:30am. Community service hours will be given for attending the event, and all participants will receive a pin. ([email protected])

RETURNING MATERIALS – Textbook collection will be available before and after your scheduled AP, AICE, and EOC tests in the hallway next to the media center.  Chromebooks must be turned in if you are: A Senior, Not returning to campus in August, The Chromebook is in need of repair. Chromebooks should be kept over the summer if you plan on returning to campus in August and it is not in need of repair.

DUAL ENROLLMENT-  The registration deadline for the summer term at PBSC is May 14th.  Students may take 1 or 2 classes (up to 8 credit hrs) during a term.  The Summer Request Form is on the JHS website.  . Fall registration does not begin until June 1st.   Students must complete fall registration before the last day of school. 

WARRIOR PARENTS We are excited to host an evening to celebrate our Senior Class on May 15th at the Golden Arrow Awards.  The Project Graduation volunteer team is coordinating games and prizes for this event.  Parent help is needed for seeking community donations and event help!  Please consider volunteering your time to help before, during and after this event.
