Kendall Baer
Junior Kendall Baer is a role model and symbol of positivity to those around her. Since the age of four, Baer has dedicated her life to the game of softball, losing all worries when she steps onto the field. “During games, nothing else matters and nobody can stand in my way,” said Baer, inspiring peers with the meaning behind her good luck charm, a single yellow bow on her catching glove. “The yellow bow on my glove reminds me to ‘be happy, be silly, and be yellow’. When I’m yellow, there isn’t anything I can’t do,” Baer said. Her constant drive to take bad experiences and make something good out of them helps Baer overcome any obstacle. With cleat in the clay and eyes on her special yellow bow, big-hearted Kendall Baer accentuates fearlessness, leadership, and determination, both on and off the clay mound.
