Thanksgiving this year is on November 28th. Eating delicious foods and spending time with family and friends is a traditional way to celebrate with some of the most common dishes including turkey, stuffing and apple pie. Here are some of our favorite dishes to add to your menu this year.
Parmesan Roast Turkey
Cook time: 3 hours
Try this easy alternative, with an intense parmesan cheese flavor and a crispy crust on top of a yummy turkey.
You will need a stick of butter, 2 teaspoons of rosemary, 2 teaspoons of thyme, 2 cloves of garlic, zest of one lemon, 1 ½ cups of parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and a 10-12 pound turkey.
To start, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and move your oven rack to the center of the oven. Place a rack on a rimmed baking sheet and set to the side.
Mix butter, rosemary, thyme, garlic, lemon zest, ½ of the parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Once smooth, set to the side and start preparing the turkey.
Pat your turkey dry and season with salt and pepper on both the underside and the top of the bird. Place the turkey skin up on the baking sheet that was prepared earlier.
Take the butter mixture and evenly spread between the skin and meat of the turkey. Finally take the rest of the parmesan cheese and sprinkle a perfectly even player over your turkey.
Cook until golden brown and an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Let rest 30 minutes before serving and enjoy.

Parker House Rolls
Cook time: 2 hours and 45 minutes
Rolls are a very common staple of Thanksgiving. This is a simple recipe for light and fluffy rolls to balance your meal.
You will need 1 ½ cups of milk, 1 stick of butter, ½ cup of sugar, 1 package of active dry yeast, ½ cup of warm water, 3 large eggs, 1 ½ teaspoons of salt and 6 cups of all-purpose flour.
To start, put your milk in a saucepan and simmer. Add your butter and sugar and mix till dissolved, let stand and cool. Dissolve the yeast into warm water and let sit until foamy.
Mix milk mixture, eggs, yeast, salt and ½ of the flour into a mixer with a dough attachment and mix till combined and smooth. Add the rest of the flour a little at a time till a smooth ball of dough is formed.
Remove from the bowl and knead by hand for 5 minutes on a floured surface. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let your dough rise for 60-70 minutes or until it has doubled in size. Put back on a floured surface and punch down the dough, then knead until it is in a desired shape.
Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and cover again for 30-40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 20 minutes.
Brush with butter,serve and enjoy.

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Cook time: 25 minutes
Brussels sprouts are one of the most popular side dishes. Here is an easy, fast and delicious way to enjoy them.
You need 1 pound of brussels sprouts, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of honey, ½ teaspoon of sriracha, and salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Start by trimming your brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Add oil, salt, pepper and brussels sprouts into a large bowl and mix.
Put brussels sprouts into an air fryer and cook for 8 minutes. Take out and toss them around, place back into the air fryer for 8- to 10 minutes to become crispy.
In the large bowl mix soy sauce, honey and sriracha until combined. Add the cooked brussels sprouts into the mixing bowl again and coat in sauce.
Add salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Truffle Turkeys
Cook time 2 hours and 15 minutes
A candy corn and chocolate dessert that everyone will enjoy after a filling holliday meal.
You will need 8 ounces of semisweet chocolate, 6 tablespoons of heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, ½ cup sliced almonds and 14 candy corn.
First put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl then bring a saucepan full of water to a boil and set the bowl of chocolate on top.
Bring your cream and honey to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat. You can also use a microwave. Whisk your cream and honey mixture into the chocolate until smooth and silky. Next whisk your butter into the mixture, cover the chocolate with plastic wrap and chill for an hour.
Move 2 tablespoons of the chocolate to a small plastic bag and cut off the tip of the corner, twist the rest of the bag creating a makeshift piping bag. Set aside for later.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Next, scoop small sections of the chocolate mixture and roll into small balls. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Decorate your truffles with the almond slices, place them in a row of about eight in the back of each truffle. Place candy corn for the turkeys face and beak. Place two more almonds at the bottom for feet.
Warm up the bag of chocolate set aside before and use it to draw on the eyes and details on the almonds for the tail. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes and enjoy.
