Boy’s lacrosse on the road to States

This season, Jupiter High’s boys’ lacrosse team has overcome some tough match-ups and hope to keep momentum all the way to states.

After their 21-2 victory over Jupiter Christian on Tuesday, April 17, the Warriors’ record increased to 18-2. Last year, the team finished their season with a record of 14-5 after The Benjamin School knocked them out in the District Championship.

“It was tough losing in the District Championship last year, but we will go to States this year because of the hard work we have put in as a brotherhood,” said senior midfielder Garret Vincent.

This season’s schedule has been filled with competitive teams and not all of their wins have come easy. The boys took down Benjamin 9-8 on March 12 and American Heritage 14-13 on March 5, two nail-biting games.

“We are definitely putting in the work on and off the field,” senior Kenny Cronin said. “We’ve had some big wins this year but we aren’t done yet.”
