Hurricane Dorian expected to hit Florida as a Category 4
Hurricane Dorian is predicted to hit Palm Beach County as a Category 4 on Mon.
As of 7:19 p.m. on Aug. 29, Dorian has maximum sustained winds of 85 mph as it nears the eastern part of the Bahamas.
“The risk of dangerous storm surge and hurricane-force winds is increasing in the central and northwestern Bahamas and along the Florida east coast, although it is too soon to determine where these hazards will occur,” Lixion Avila said in an update for the National Hurricane Center.
