CONGRATULATIONS MRS. MUNCY! Selected as a Finalist for the William T. Dwyer Awards for Excellence in Education. The winners of the 2022 Dwyer Awards will be announced at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on May 10, 2022.
THE LEO FIORDILINO SCHOLARSHIPS will award several JHS graduating seniors with a scholarship, the new deadline for their applications is now May 7th. They have two applications, one for a senior pursuing music and one for a student or their family who has faced medical adversity. STEM SATURDAY SHOWCASE PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE Students are invited to attend an informative S.T.E.M. Saturday Showcase on April 9, at the Palm Beach Gardens Campus. This event is FREE, and free pizza and refreshments will be provided to all registered attendees. Food Trucks will also be available for those wishing to purchase additional food items. A flyer for the showcase, including a QR code for registration via smartphone, is attached. PLEASE CONGRATULATE the JV flag football team on their 6-0 win over Wellington on Monday night. Gianna Stevens found Sophia Drumm in the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown and Kaitlyn Marcoullier sealed the win with her third interception of the night. The Lady Warriors travel down Military Trail tonight for a rivalry game with the Dwyer Panthers.

THE TEACHER OF THE WEEK is Mr. Woeber! Mr. Woeber is an awesome teacher who always works to keep his students engaged during class through his fun PowerPoint and exciting projects for different lessons. Congratulations Mr. Woeber and thank you for all you do!
THE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK is senior Dakota Vinyard on the Boys Weightlifting Team! Dakota was 1st Overall at Districts on Friday and won the meet by 100 lbs. Congratulations Dakota!

GEOMETRY STUDENTS! Geometry teachers are holding after-school tutoring sessions to prepare you for the Geometry EOC, a requirement for graduation. Check the schedule for a session that works for you. Come, eat some snacks, and prepare for the Geometry EOC with us!
DRAMA CLUB AUDITIONS for the Best of Broadway Showcase on May 16th, 6-7:30 pm are today and tomorrow (4/6-4/7) after school from 3-4 pm in the Auditorium. Audition Sign-Up Sheets are on Ms.Taylor’s Door in room 5-206. Circle whether you are singing or auditioning with a script reading. The performance numbers and scenes, with the script, that will be performed are located on the drama google classroom (code skqimhb). YOU MUST sign the sign-up sheet on Ms. Taylor’s door in order to audition. Thank you and we’ll see you there!
HOSA is collecting new and (slightly) used books in good condition until April 15th. Bring to Rm 7-101. These books will be for students, ages 5-11, and will be donated to Jupiter Elementary School. Community service hours are available for your planning and collection efforts. Thank you!

THERE WILL BE A DUAL ENROLLMENT information meeting for students and parents who want to learn about the dual enrollment opportunity on Thursday, April 7th at 6:30 pm in our auditorium. Open to all.
THE ASVAB CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAM is free of charge and will be administered on Thursday, April 11. Signups are in the guidance office. Spots will be based on first come first serve. See Mrs. DeCabia in Guidance if you have any questions. An ASVAB Prep Course is available in Peterson’s Test Prep in the Gale Research Tile in your Portal.
STUDENTS AGAINST MELANOMA Members – Our last meeting of the year will be Thursday, April 7th in Mrs. Rodgers’ room at 2:45 pm. Please plan to attend! End-of-year beach event and art contest will be announced! Snacks provided for in-person attendees.
