Dominick Ford, sophomore, is entering his first year of journalism on War Cry as a staffer. Although he hasn’t taken newspaper before, he is eager to get started and help the publication grow. He is most interested in writing motor sports articles like the annual Daytona 500 NASCAR race. In his free time, Ford is interested in watching the weather and studying meteorology. “I look at national radars all over the country and if something is happening I’ll cover it with my friends,” Ford said. After high school, Ford wants to attend the University of Oklahoma which is the number one school in the nation for meteorology and later join the National Weather Service. In school, Ford’s favorite subjects are science and math which will help him on his meteorology journey. Ford, born in Jupiter, has moved all over including Kansas and Missouri. However, Jupiter has been his favorite because of the friends he made and connections he will have the rest of his life.
