Lily King, sophomore, is entering her first year of Journalism where she is currently a staffer. After moving to Jupiter in first grade, King got involved in the journalism club at her elementary school. King made the decision to join the War Cry staff this year after discovering her fond interest in writing about photographs she had taken. When King is not taking photographs, she enjoys activities such as cheerleading and karate. As an animal lover, King has spent the last two summers volunteering her time at the Lighthouse Animal Hospital, observing animal operations and shadowing Dr. Mary Hauser. King is leaning towards the University of Central Florida (UCF) as an undergrad student, and grad school at the University of Florida (UF) to study for her prospective career as a veterinarian. King is looking forward to writing school news this year on War Cry.
