Junior Brandon Lopez loves filmmaking, books and movies. As a novice filmmaker himself, Lopez appreciates simplicity in a film, which is why his favorite movie is “Who Killed Captain Alex?”—an ultra-low budget production made in Uganda. Lopez is bashful around strangers, but witty and outgoing when he comes out of his shell. As a member of the War Cry since freshman year, advisors and editors immediately saw potential in him, so a future in communications wouldn’t be unexpected. However, in the future Lopez is certain he wants to move west.
