If you are interested in boys soccer, listen up! All returning players need to complete your athletic packet before October first. This needs to be completed on Aktivate. If you need any help, come to the gym and see Coach Allahar.

 

Great news, Warriors. H-J Photo will be on campus Sept. 12 and 13 for underclass yearbook pictures. Students in grades 9 through 11 will get photographed via their English class. The yearbook picture schedule will be available Sept. 1. To pre-order school pictures online, visit H-J Palm Beach dot com, search our school name and select “K-11 portraits.”

 

Come join Jupiter High School’s Mental Health Awareness Club! MHA works diligently to improve campus-wide Mental Health across Jupiter High and our local communities by hosting monthly meetings and events that anyone is welcome to attend! Throughout the year, MHA provides club members with community service opportunities and various activities. Through the Mental Health Awareness Club, members have a way to de-stress, help the community, and connect with others involved in the club! Our first meeting of the year will be on Thursday, September 7th, in Mrs. Guzick’s room, 7-212. We will be going over information regarding our plans for this school year and how to get involved. Crumbl cookies will be provided along with a competition for $25 All Sports Grill gift cards! We hope to see many new and familiar faces!

Do you want to make a difference in your community, learn leadership skills, make new friends, and earn community service hours? Key Club is the club for you! See Mr. Struckmyer in portable 38 for a membership application, or join the Key Club Google Classroom using the code: six-D-three-F-Q-M-M. Our first first meeting for the school year will be Wednesday, September 6th at 3:00 PM in the Cafeteria.

 

Do you want to learn more about infectious disease and their prevention? Join the Infectious Diseases Prevention Club! It’s open to all and all meetings are once a month during both lunches. Lunch A is in room 4-118 and Lunch B is in room 6-215. Our first meeting is today, August 31st.  The google classroom code is Y-W-L-six-five-G-W. 

 

This year’s Battle of the Books titles have arrived. Stop by the media center to check out your copy of a Florida Teens Read and get on a team.

First Priority, (a Christian Club on campus) will be meeting in 2-111, the room by the cafeteria, on Thursday during A and B lunches.  Everyone is invited.  Come hear an inspiring lesson!

 

Students interested in Best Buddies need to return their signed forms to Mrs.Nunez in room 4-107 by no later than Friday, September 1st. Please make sure you include your $40 dues when you return your forms, as your registration will be incomplete without it. Any questions, please see Mrs.Nunez or any of our Best Buddies officers. Are you interested in Science, Technology ,Engineering, or Mathematics? Do you have an idea for a project that could help our community or the environment? Would you like community service hours? Do you want a chance to win scholarship money or cash prizes?  If any of this sounds interesting to you, or if you would like more information, then stop by the Science Fair google classroom using code: B-Y-G-I-D-A-J and sign up or visit Ms. Buck in room 7-205B during lunch for more information. The first Science Fair planning meeting will be held on Thursday Sept 7th at 2:45 pm in room 7-207. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to compete for cash prizes, scholarships and community service.

 

Join Oceans First! Earn community service hours while helping our local beaches, raise money for multiple organizations to help jupiters wildlife, and so much more! Join the google classroom to stay updated on meetings and beach cleanup events. The google classroom code is Kia7wi7.

 

Join Jupiter High School’s Helping Hands! Helping Hands is one of Jupiter High’s newest clubs. We aim to give members unique volunteering opportunities through our monthly meetings and events! Community service hours will be offered to those who attend events and become dedicated volunteers.  Helping Hands is a great and interactive way to get involved in community work! Join us for our first ever meeting on September 6th, in Mr. Hagenbuch’s room, portable 15. We will be giving lots of important information regarding our plans for the year, so be sure to attend! The National English Honor Society is accepting applications from junior and senior students. Students must have a 3.5 in English classes only. Simply write your name, student number and grade on the sign up sheets located outside of room 1-155 and outside of the Media Center. Email Mrs. Sparks or stop by room 1-155 with any questions.

 

Attention Class of 2024! Seniors only!!! Did you forget to apply to the Social Studies Honor Society last year? If so, applications are open now. Stop by room 6-208 or ask your social studies teacher for an application. All applications are due Thursday August 31st by 3 pm. Any questions? See Mrs. Hanssen in room 6-208. Reminder: this is for seniors only.

Calling all creators! Inkwell, JHS’s literary and artistic magazine, has opened submissions to their semester 1 magazine! Submit your pieces for a chance to be featured. The theme is nature. Nature, both chaotic and beautiful, has proven a valuable inspiration source for many creators. Whether you choose to praise it, be astonished by it, recoil from it, or find comfort in it, we want your pieces this semester to be inspired by nature. The submission deadline is October 12th. Scan the QR code for the submission form, and join the google classroom for more information. 

 

Attention students! SGA will be hosting a Hygiene Supplies drive for products such as Shampoo, Bodywash, Deodorant, Tampons, and Pads from August 28th to September 8th. Community service will be given for the time collecting each item. Please drop off your items with your First and Last name as well as Your first period teacher’s name in room 4-106.

 

Maui needs our help! Join Green Team in supporting families recovering from the wildfires that devastated the town of Lahaina this month. Scan this QR code to donate directly to a family that JERFSA students worked with this past spring break during their service trip to the island. Another way to help is to shop the Pura Vida ‘Maui’ collection; 100% of net profit is donated to Hawaiian relief organizations.

Good morning class of 2025! Juniors, we will be giving out class t-shirts to students who have paid their dues on Wednesdays in front of the cafeteria during both lunches. Dues are $50 per year. These dues need to be paid or else you CANNOT GO TO PROM. Please help us so we can put together a great prom!

 

Listen up class of 2026 – our shirts are in!  Sophomores, our class shirts are ready to be picked up in the guidance office during lunch, before or after school.  You must pay your class dues on school cash online. If you haven’t paid yet, do it fast so we can represent our sophomore class!!
