Congrats to the XC teams who competed at the Dwyer Friday Night Lights meet. Connor Opton led the boys, followed by Cash Ciliento, Aden Vargas, Jadyn Schuettler, and Jacob Taylor. Juliet Baltrun was the top finisher for the girls, placing 7th overall. She was followed by Kylie Godino, Emma Haake, Jacklyn Biondo, and Jaden Burke. The teams will compete in the County Championship Meet Thursday. Good luck to them.

The Warrior Chorus has earned a prestigious spot to showcase their talents at the enchanting Candlelight Processional, a cherished segment of Disney World’s Festival of the Holidays. This year, the captivating John Stamos, famously known as Uncle Jesse, will grace their performance as the celebrity guest narrator.  In anticipation of their upcoming solo and ensemble music assessments in November, the Warrior Chorus and Orchestra invite you to join them at their Fall Concert on tomorrow, October 26th, starting at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets are available for students at just $5, and faculty members enjoy free entry. We warmly encourage your support for our exceptional music students as they prepare to shine.

 

The Jupiter High Dance team is teaming up with Playa Bowls.  Visit Playa Bowls on Indiantown Road today, October 26th from 4pm to 8pm.  Be sure to mention the Jupiter High Dance Team at check out to help them raise money.  Thanks for your support!

Black Student Union (BSU) is holding our next club meeting on Monday October 30, 2023 immediately after school in room 4-113. They look forward to seeing you and encourage you to bring your friends!

 

Helping Hands is hosting their second meeting of the year tomorrow, October 27th, after school in Mr. Hagenbuch’s room, portable 15. They will be giving valuable information about our upcoming volunteering events, along with making crafts for the kids at Quantum House. You will get community service for attending and helping us to make goodie bags and spooky grams! Don’t miss out! First Priority will be having their weekly meeting, today, Thursday in our usual room, 2111.  Come hear an inspiring message.

 

DECA is hosting a New and Gently Used Shoe drive to support 3rd world countries around the globe. From now until December 15th, shoes can be dropped off in the Spearit Shop during lunches, the Front Of the building as you walk in, or in room 4-217. In order to receive community service you will need to put your name, student number and your first hour teacher on the shoes.  Thank you for your support!

Jupiter High school´s first ever Type One Diabetes Awareness club is back for its second year! Are you looking for a chance to spread awareness and squash the stigma around this disease? Are you in need of community service opportunities? This is the club for you! Their first event is just a few weeks away, 8 a.m on Saturday, October 28th at Meyer amphitheater. They are partnering with the organization JDRF and participating in the first fundraising walk. Sign up on the JDRF official website and join team T-one-D warriors underscore J-H-S. You will get community service hours for your fundraising attempts and for attending the walk. Come join them! Everyone is welcome and encouraged.

 

Calling all Future Leaders of the U.N. members and any wanting community service hours! FLUN is having a general body meeting on Monday, October 30th during both lunches. We will be discussing upcoming events and community service opportunities! Don’t miss out! The A-lunch meeting will take place in room 7-205 and the B lunch meeting will be in room 5-116.

Green Team is raising money by selling the cutest Halloween item, Boo Pops.  These blow pops are being sold for a dollar each all this October.  You can purchase them during lunch or from a Green Team member in your class.

The Lounge Project will sell Halloween bags in the courtyard from now until tomorrow, October 27th! One bag will be sold for three dollars and two bags will be sold for five dollars!

Come join Letters For Rose for a Halloween themed letter workshop today, after school in Mrs. Ellis’ room 4-118! You will receive community service hours for however many letters you write! Service sheets for all letters turned in before October 25th will be available for pick up at the meeting. Can’t wait to see you all there! Have any old Halloween costumes you want to get rid of?  The Selfless Serving Club is holding a costume drive. Come bring any new or gently used costumes, masks, or wigs to Ms. D’s room 5-214 now through Friday the 27th to get community service hours!

On November 3 at 6pm, come to Drama Club’s Thespian Showcase to see what our troupe members are planning to take to the Districts theatre competition. Performances will include various songs from musicals, and monologues and scenes from an assortment of plays. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for general admission. Cash only. Teachers get in free. Support our wonderful actors!

 

Calling all actors, techies, and Grimm’s Fairy Tale characters! Ms. Knight and the drama club will be holding auditions for “Into the Woods”, open to the entire school, on November 13 and 14 in the drama classroom, Room 9-106. Auditions will be from 3 to 5 pm, and you must prepare a song from the musical to sing, for the character you’d like to play, OR any song in the same theme or range as that character. You will also read lines provided by Ms. Knight during auditions to show your acting ability. You will also need to see Ms. Knight for a permission slip before the auditions, and to turn it in either before or during auditions.

Listen up juniors and seniors!  We will have many College visits set up where you have the opportunity to get firsthand information from the college of your choice.  If you are interested in any of the Colleges/Universities shown here please sign up for the visit in the guidance office.  You will need a pass to attend the visit.
