Assistant Principal Ms. Daversa has a new name… she is now and forever will be known as Doctor Deversa! Congratulations Dr. Daversa for earning your doctorate in educational leadership from Florida Southern College. We are all so proud of you.
Boys lacrosse takes it on the road today at St.John Paul. JV game starts at 5pm followed by Varsity at 7pm. Come down and support your Warriors! And of course, don’t forget about the girls’ lacrosse team. They’re trying to raise money for referee fees, uniforms, field equipment and more. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Attention all Interact Club members! Your next meeting will take place on Monday, March 4 right after school at 2:45 PM in the media center. Please plan to attend to find out about the RYLA leadership scholarship as well as find out about the upcoming March events.
Preserve your legacy, Buy a Brick. Custom engravable bricks are being sold by the Environmental Academy. Include your family name or even business name to be preserved at this school for years to come. Bricks are being sold for only one hundred dollars per brick for families and 200 dollars per brick for businesses. Bricks will be placed around the environmental pond. Preserve your legacy, email Teresa Thornton at palm beach schools dot org for ordering. Make sure to spread the word!

Cook and Bake Club is hosting their annual Spring Bake Sale and they need your help! Now through March 11th, they will be asking for donations of regular Oreos, cream cheese, and spring-colored candy melts. If you donate, you will receive community service hours for time spent collecting items. Items can be dropped off to Ms. De Sena’s room: 2-114.
The Computer Science Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society are selling the 2024 SaveAround coupon books for twenty-five dollars. If you are interested, please email Ms. Garcia, and she will send a student to bring you a coupon book. They accept cash and checks made out to Jupiter High School.

The 9th Annual Dance Marathon Party is tonight from 5pm to 9pm, in the cafeteria. Admission is absolutely FREE! That’s right, no tickets needed. We’ve got FREE food, exciting games, and the beats will be dropping all night long thanks to the incredible DJ Mike. So, Warriors let’s come together, party with purpose, and celebrate the spirit of giving back. See you all at the 9th Annual Dance Marathon Party on March 1st in the cafeteria. Here’s your Into the Woods spotlight. Gianna Cecere is a freshman at Jupiter High School and is working sound for Into the Woods. She loves theatre and enjoys the tech side of it. Although she doesn’t have a ton of theatre experience, Gianna is so happy she gets to work on into the woods and is thankful for everyone who shows up to watch the performance. She wants to give a special thanks to the actors and the other techies who make this production so magical.

Prom tickets are being sold in the auditorium lobby until Spring Break. You must have a contract with everything filled out to receive a ticket. Take note of the information regarding the date of sales for each graduating class and their guests.
And don’t forget to please nominate a Royal Couple to represent the Jupiter High School Prom King/Queen/Royalty for the Class of 2024. Submit the form posted on the Class of 2024 Google Classroom page by Tuesday, March 5th at 12:15 PM. Final voting will take place on prom night.

If you are a sophomore or junior interested in joining the National Honor Society, please listen up. The requirements to join are as follows. You’ll need a 3.0 unweighted GPA, a resume, 100 community service hours, two teacher letters of recommendation, and two essay questions. Applications will be outside of room 1-155 and on the JHS website. They are due by Tuesday. March 26th, by 2:40pm. Mrs. Sparks is available during periods 1-6 and during both lunches for if you need assistance.

Seniors, now is the time to apply for scholarships! These are due on March 1st with many more listed on the JHS Scholarship Bulletin. Go to the JHS website to find the complete listing as well as applications! River Center Sawyer “Tommy” Thompson Scholarship, American Welding Society, Hagan Scholarship, J. M. Rubin Scholarship, and Delta Sigma Theta West Palm Beach Chapter is offering a scholarship as well too.
