With the football team’s win against Lake Worth High School on Aug. 29, the Warriors started the year 3-0 for the first time in years.

Junior tight-end Brian Dyer noticed the team’s work ethic has improved.

“We were all involved in the process, and went to extreme lengths to make sure we got enough work in the gym,” Dyer said.

The team has been focused on strength and conditioning exercises, working on routes every morning. With a combination of lifting weights and endurance training, the Warriors will be a force this season.

“Our team’s determination to not give up helped us secure the win all the way to the end,” Williams said.

Williams explained how the team’s attitude approaching games is leading to wins. In previous seasons, the team seemed to fizzle out in the second half, but this year plans to finish strong.

“The season will go well, I am very hopeful of our chances,” Williams said.
