CONGRATULATIONS to the girls cross country team for once again winning Thursdays meet held at Dyer Park.  The team was led by Senior Sydney Buck who not only won the race but also set a new personal record in a time of 19:49.  Others scoring points for the Warriors were Alexa Hanssen, Toni Contento, Sofia Mazzota, and Carlyn Russell.  Several other Warriors ran personal bests.  Way to go ladies!

BOYS SOCCER TRYOUTS  today through Thursday, Nov. 9-12th.  Friday will be a makeup day for the weather if needed. Where: JCP fields. When 3:15- 4:50 Please be on time. Bring your own water, wear a face covering to and from the field. Please bring a white shirt and dark-colored shirt to tryout every day.

ATTENTION ALL NHS MEMBERS! Dues collection will take place on Tuesday and Thursday this week during both lunches. Please bring the dues to Mrs. Sparks’s room 1-155. It is at the end of the hallway next to the library. New members have to pay $40 and returning members must pay $10. JUNIORS AND SENIORS Are you interested in being a part of the National Social Studies Honor Society?  If you have a 3.0 semester grade average in EVERY Social Studies course taken, a 3.0 overall GPA, and no out of school suspensions, you can apply!  Online applications are available on your social studies teachers’ google classrooms. Hard copies can be found in Mrs. Hanssen’s room, 5-112. All hard copies must be turned into the front office bin or to room 5-112 when completed. If you are a senior and were accepted last year, you DO NOT need to reapply.

  • Today we will be having our first student forum in the auditorium during 1st period. We encourage you to DM questions and suggestions to our Instagram @jhssga, or use our QR codes located in the 5000 hallway, 7000 hallway, atrium, and other various locations. Teachers, we encourage you to select one brick and mortar student to attend the student forum and bring back information.
  • The athlete of the week is Christian Orth! Christian is a highly ranked football player in Palm Beach County, a captain of the Warrior football team and a top student. He’s also a very nice guy. Congratulations!
  • The teacher of the week is Mr. Hetu. Thank you for all you do for students!
