THE NEW COMPUTER SCIENCE HONOR SOCIETY Everyone is invited to join.  The purpose of this organization is to encourage students’ enthusiasm for computer science, to honor academic excellence, and to promote service.  A short introductory meeting will be Thursday Sept. 16 at 2:50 pm in Room 4-209 or online through CSHS Google Classroom Meet link. Classroom Code:  53kyg3k. Application is on Google Classroom.  Due by Friday 9/24/2021. Requirements for CSHS Membership: Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior. Must have taken and passed one Computer Science class. GPA of 3.0 or better.

BOYS BASKETBALL There will be a mandatory tryout informational meeting for all interested in trying out for Boys’ Basketball on Tuesday, September 14th directly after school in Coach JD’s room 6-106. If you cannot make the meeting please make sure to stop by Coach JD’s room for the information.

THE JHS CHRISTIAN LEAGUE Students plan on attending the most inspirational club on campus, as we receive a message from JESUS to help us grow and develop our faith and to become an inspirational person for others. A bible verse will be shared and the meeting will end in a prayer. First meeting is Thursday, September 16th in Portable 3 at 7:10 AM. See Mr. Ahern if you have any questions. CALLING ALL HOSA MEMBERS! HOSA’s second meeting of this school year will be held in the auditorium after school on September 15th.  New members are welcome!  We look forward to seeing you there!

SOPHOMORES T-shirt pick up for students who paid their class dues will be on Monday during both lunches NOT Tuesday. If you do not pick up your t-shirt on Monday, then you may pick it up from Mr. Ciliento in room 3-110 after school any day of the week.

JHS SWAT Students Working Against Tobacco will have our 1st meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 14th at 2:50 pm in the Media Center Room 1-157. All are welcome.

SAM CLUB MEMBERS OLD AND NEW – ARE YOU READY? We have our first event coming up to raise funds in a partnership with Kendra Scott at the mall. A yoga event and beach clean up are coming up this month. THE SHE CLUB, a brand-new club dedicated to collecting donations for the Adopt-A-Family women’s shelter in West Palm Beach, will be having its first meeting on Monday, Sept. 13, at 2:45 p.m. in Mrs. Muncy’s room 4-110. GIRLS WEIGHTLIFTING All 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade Ladies are invited to an informational meeting to plan for this year’s 2021-2022  ladies’ weightlifting season. Meet on Tuesday, September 14th or Wednesday September 15th in room 10-106 promptly at 3:00pm. You will only need to attend 1 of the 2 meetings to get the information you’ll need. So come on out and be a part of the 10 time conference champion Jupiter High School Ladies weightlifting program. There is no experience necessary to be a part of our program.

UNDERCLASS PICTURES are tomorrow and Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the JHS auditorium. Underclass students will get their photos taken via their English class. If you do not have an English class on campus, come to the auditorium any time between 7:30 and 2:45 to get photographed. Pre-order your underclass school pictures before Sept. 14 at cady.com/pictureday, and save $10.
