ATTENTION JUNIORS who would like to take the PSAT on Oct 13th. Tickets to reserve your spot will be sold in the guidance office during both lunches 9/28 through 10/1. There are a limited number of spots and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Tickets are $20 and can be paid for with the exact cash amount or by check made out to Jupiter High. Tickets will only be sold during lunch.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SPIRIT OF JUPITER our very own Marching Warriors, for completing a full sweep of captions in their first competition as a full ensemble since 2019.  The Spirit of Jupiter, under the field direction of Zoie Kline and Makena Mutchler, took home best in class color guard, percussion, music, visual, general effect, first place in class 3A, and was named Grand Champion at the Boca Cavalcade of Bands. SOJ competes in two weeks at John I Leonard high school October 9th. Congratulations again!

SAM CLUB YOGA EVENT On September 19th, the SAM Club had a yoga event led by Ms. Diaz at the mall that was pretty awesome. Lots of kids showed up to “Shop for a Cause” at Kendra Scott  and the money went to the Melanoma Foundation. Namaste!

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL does it again. They competed last weekend in Jacksonville and defeated Lincoln High School, Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Fletcher High School, Gainesville, and Fletcher once again while only dropping one set the whole weekend. They won the championship, improving their undefeated record to 14-0. The Girls have two away games this week, and our senior night against Benjamin is next week!! Go Warriors.

GIRLS SOCCER Anyone interested in girls soccer tryouts, please join the Google Classroom (Code is of267ss). You can also stop by and see Assistant Coach Ms. Leavitt in Portable 6. Tryouts will begin October 18, make sure you turn in your packet beforehand!

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY The Team has been busy the last 2 weeks competing in 5 meets. Theo Endrud continues to lead, finishing top for the team. Lask week, the boys competed at Dyer Park and won the meet with 24 points led by seniors James Walter and Will Nuneville finishing 1 – 2 overall!

CONGRATULATIONS TO EMONTE BROWN. Both the ERA MVP and PBP Athlete of the Week. The Warrior’s Junior running back and one of the fastest players in the county had one of the best games of his high school football career against Palm Beach Lakes. He registered 18 carries for 192 yards and three touchdowns, while adding two kick returns for 82 yards, in a 34-28 home win on Sept. 17. Emonte  made sure to credit the offensive line for his MVP performance including Edwin Mendez, Ryan Preisendorf, Gage Conklin, center Jake Russo, Joey Bates and Steven Oberst. GO WARRIORS!

COME TO THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL CLUB ON CAMPUS, the JHS Christian League that meets every Thursday Morning at 7:10 AM in Portable 3. Come and get a bible message and a short prayer to make your day and share with others!!!!

THE BEYOND BREAST CANCER CLUB will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, September 29th at 2:45 in room 5-116. Their mission is to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and donate to the Susan G. SOCK-TOBER Did you know there are approximately 1,600 students in Palm Beach County that are currently homeless and many more people in Palm Beach County that are not students. Did you also know that SOCKS are the most requested clothing item by our homeless community? Key Club is partnering with The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County to collect socks throughout the month of October.  Stop by portable 1 to donate any NEW mens, ladies and/or childrens socks and help out our friends in the homeless community!

THE CHILDREN’S HUNGER FUND will be having its first meeting Wednesday, Sept. 29th in room 6-208 right after school.  We will meet briefly to discuss the goals and purpose of the club and some opportunities for service hours. Join our Google Classroom with the code: utrv7ci

9th Grade Students and their Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend THE JOHNSON TAKE STOCK PROGRAM virtual information session on September 30th, 6:00pm on Google Meet (Link: https://meet.google.com/ghh-nysv-wsv) Get an extra push to graduate ready for college and possibly receive a Two Year Florida College Prepaid Scholarship for completing the program. Come join this 30-minute meeting to see if you qualify for this amazing opportunity. The application will be available in the meeting. We hope to see you there!

WRESTLING Anyone interested in joining the JHS Wrestling Team and didn’t make last Friday’s meeting need to meet in the cafeteria on Thursday (9/30) at 3:00 pm for important information about the season.
