BOYS CROSS COUNTRY ended the cross country season on Saturday with Regionals in Kissimmee. James Walter led the team to a 13th place finish. Juniors Aaron Binder and Aiden Russo ran personal records. They finished a great season, everyone ran faster this year than last year. On to Track! Way to go, Warriors!

SPORTS THIS WEEK Students, please come out on Saturday at 2pm to cheer on our volleyball team in the State Semifinal match against Windermere. The form is on the athletics linktree. TAKE STOCK JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – 9TH GRADE ONLY If you met with a Take Stock Johnson Scholars representative last week, please remember that your application is due no later than Friday, Nov. 12. You may either turn a hard copy of the application into Mrs. Woeber located in the guidance office OR submit the application electronically. An email with the link was sent to your school email address.

SENIORS You can still apply for the George Snow Scholarship.. There are over 100 scholarships available through this one application! For example, there’s a scholarship for attending Limestone Creek Elementary, and another if you’re in the Medical Academy. Many other wonderful scholarships are found within this application! APPLY no later than Feb. 1, 2022 at www.scholarship.org

SGA is hosting a Culver’s fundraiser today (11/9)  from 5-9 PM. All proceeds will support Place of Hope, a local organization that provides homes for foster children and is ranked #1 in the Nation in 2021 for Children Services, Youth Development and Shelter. Please mention Jupiter High school when you place your order to support this cause. 

CAR WASH SATURDAY The car wash is in support of the Criminal Justice Academy. Students are selling tickets Or you can show up in the JHS Bus Loop on Nov 13th from 8:30 – 2:00.

ATTENTION ALL JHS STUDENTS Our community is in great need of blood donations, so we will be having our first school-wide blood drive this December and will begin sign ups after Thanksgiving Break. LETTERS FOR ROSE Come to the club’s third meeting! If you’re not already a part of the club, it’s not too late to join! LFR aims to reduce loneliness among elders during Covid-19 by creating and distributing personalized letters to local nursing homes. One hour of community service will be given per letter you write! Don’t miss out on some great community service opportunities for a good cause. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, November 10th (due to no school that Thursday) in Ms. Ellis’s room 4-118. ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Applications for  the Social Studies Honor Society are now available and due by November 19th in Mrs. Hanssen’s room, 6-208. New members will be notified in January. Seniors that applied last year and were accepted, do NOT need to reapply–but please check our Google Classroom page in December for important information.

FIRST PRIORITY meets today at its normal location by the ceramics classroom in the courtyard during B lunch. Everybody is invited for fellowship, snacks, and a game.

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS If you would like to join the Science National Honor Society, please listen up. Requirements: 3.0 GPA or higher overall, 3.5 GPA in science,  and you must have taken at least one honors science class or higher to apply.

SENIORS – If you were in the Science National Honor Society last year, you are automatically in again this year.  Please be sure you are a member of the Google Classroom.  JUNIORS – If you would like to be part of SNHS, please join the Junior Google Classroom and fill out the Google Form. You will also need to join the REMIND.
