Gianna Grieco, Photo Editor
Gianna Grieco is a senior at Jupiter High School. She lives in Jupiter, Florida with her parents, brother and Chocolate Lab: Buddy. She has played soccer since she was 3 years old; however, after tearing her ACL once in Dec. of 2021, she tore it again in June 2022 and underwent two full ACL reconstruction surgeries which prevent her from playing in college. She played on the JHS Girls Varsity Soccer team and Palm Beach Gardens Predators Girls Academy team. Even though she does not plan to continue her soccer career, her injuries have taught her that everything happens for a reason. Grieco aspires to study physical therapy at Colorado State University due to her love and passion for helping others. Grieco was the Sports Editor her sophomore year and the photo editor her junior and senior year for War Cry. Aside from writing for the newspaper and taking photos, she enjoys going to the beach and being with her family and friends. Photography is one of her passions, and hopes to continue it in the future.
