Shayna Lagos, Editor- in- Chief
Shayna Lagos, senior, was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida and is entering her third year on the Jupiter War Cry staff. In Lagos’s junior year, she was the Sports and Managing Editor and this year is one of the three Editor-in-Chiefs. “My favorite thing about War Cry is feeling like I always have somewhere to go. I started my sophomore year with a small group of people, and being in War Cry helped me find different aspects of myself and be more open,” Lagos said. In Lagos’s free time, she enjoys baking, photography, reading, watching soccer and playing with her little brother. Lagos is the Vice President of Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) and is an Editor for Inkwell – Jupiter High’s student magazine. Lagos hopes to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she plans to get her bachelor’s degree in English and go to law school to become a literacy lawyer.
