Crumbl Cookie Review: Week of 9/27

On Sep. 27, the Crumbl Cookies franchise turned four years old, which called for another weekly round of brand new flavors: Funfetti Milkshake, Golden OREO Cookie Pieces, Peanut Butter Brittle and Brownie Batter.

Crumbl Cookies originated in Utah by two cousins, Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley in 2017.

They have opened 200 bakeries in 32 states nationwide, which they started doing different flavors weekly. Crumbl Cookies became popular through TikTok because people started doing reviews on the weekly flavors, which eventually led to one opening up in Palm Beach Gardens in the Alton plaza.

Crumbl Cookies allows anyone to get a customized sticker on their box of cookies which costs just one dollar more if it is someone’s birthday or special occasion. For a refresher with the sweet cookies, they also serve ice cream and milk with their cookies.

After watching tons of videos about Crumbl Cookies, I had to drive to the closest one. Luckily, a Crumbl Cookie had just opened up in the Alton plaza in Palm Beach Gardens. Because of its popularity, the line to order cookies is normally long because of how busy it gets but they have a curbside pickup option if you’re in a rush.

When I was inside ordering my cookies, they had a couple of touch screen tablets allowing you to order ahead, but if you choose not to do that while you are waiting, they have an area where you can view the cookies of the week and watch the employees make your box of cookies. I got a four-pack of this week’s new flavors for $13.00.

The Funfetti Milkshake cookie is a chilled Funfetti sugar cookie rolled in rainbow sprinkles, topped with a cake-flavored buttercream and dollop of whipped cream.

I love the idea of this cookie and it wasn’t terrible, but it was way too sweet for me and I don’t personally love birthday cake flavor items. However, the cookie did taste like a Funfetti milkshake which amazed me.

If I enjoyed anything birthday cake flavor, this cookie would be it.

The Golden OREO cookie piece cookie is served warm. It includes white chocolate chips throughout with a vanilla cream cheese frosting, topped with golden oreo crumbs and a mini golden oreo.

The cookie tasted just like I was eating a golden Oreo. The frosting was my favorite part because it wasn’t as sweet as I expected it to be. I would definitely eat this cookie again.

The Peanut butter brittle cookie is served warm with crunchy peanuts, with their creamy peanut butter mousse and crisp peanut brittle.

This cookie is definitely for someone who can handle a lot of peanut butter.

This cookie was baked for the perfect amount of time; it wasn’t too sweet and the peanut brittle leveled the peanut butter with a surprising crunch, which was my favorite part of the cookie.

The Brownie batter flavored cookie is a warmed brownie cookie, topped with sweet pockets of brownie batter frosting on top.

This cookie was by far my favorite. I love brownie-flavored anything, so I had high expectations for this one, and of course, Crumbl Cookies met those expectations.

The amount of sweetness in the cookie was perfect; it was fresh out of the oven, so as I bit into it, the chocolate warmly melted in my mouth. This cookie exceeded my expectations.
